I was in my early 30s when this cartoon aired and I always had a blast watching and listening to all the double-meaning jokes. Classic!

Not really adult, but the episode where the warners meet Satan was always hilarious to me. "Wow, it really didn't have a chance."
And to think the adult jokes are one of the many things that made the original series interesting, but with how the censores are today the reboot probably won't be able to sneak as many.

Um, they censors are actually lot more lax today than they were in the 90's.
I mean, the reboot is on Hulu, so there aren't any network "censors" to worry about.

Animaniacs was my childhood. I loved it growing up. I can't wait for the reboot. I'm curious to know not what they'll be able to get away with, but how much they'll be able to get away with.
“Helloooo Nurse!” Is the one constant I remembered. I figured Prince was popular with women at the time.
There was an animaniacs episode in which Minera Mink meets a reversed werewolf: The wolf is a nerdish "Dweeb" normally but during the full moon he changes to a Handsome male wolf- Think male version of Minerva- and she is throwing herself at him, only to have him change back to dweeb a moment later. Finally she asks him about this and he sheepishly admits it happens every full moon. She replies that she'll wait for him.
The only Minerva bit I liked lol Ironically, I'm asexual so I don't really get it but it's somehow still relatable?
that was later in the sketch shown... and then her only other episode was against a hunting dog... beyond that she was reduced to cameos only

WATCHED THE 1ST 2 NEW EPISODES , LOVE IT ! FIANALLY A GOOD REMAKE
My personal favorite is when they went to Hell. When Wakko realized where they were, he ran up a giant spiral staircase into the middle of a snow-covered field. Scooping up a mound of snow and fashioning it into a snowball, Wakko then runs all the way back down to Hell, drops the snowball on the ground, and watches it melt immediately. Wakko then turns to the camera and declares, "They were right: It didn't stand a chance!"

Not sure if it was an adult joke but I always remembered one scene when Yako was king. He had a beautiful attendant in that episode. She would say, "Sire, if I may?" Yako would then reply, "I wish you would!"
