Anyone who says the 1911's are irrelevant or obsolete are absolutely wrong. Get a good brand because they are reliable just like Glocks are reliable because Glock makes them. Many clock clones don't work as well as a Glock just the same as many 1911s don't work as good as colts. All guns are relevant as long as they are reliable, affordable ammo is readily available. If you're confident, comfortable, and consistent with your gun you will be just fine.
You buy 1911 because they are reliable. I buy 1911 because Glocks are ugly as fuck.
That's a sexy piece of metal right there. 🔥
Love my garrison 45 acp blued, nice shooting 🔫
The Garrison is nice too-going to do a video on that model in the next few days
Garrison has a few issues to work out
@Andog 609 curious what's issues ?. I've shot mine 300 rounds out the box 📦 no issues.
@@andog6092 I am curious what issues you had and if it is a 9mm or .45?
Sweet pistol
Your not a bad shot, for me when I shoot 1911’s they kinda shoot a little bit low for me but it could be my trigger pull
It’s a real purrrrty gun.
Nice firearm ❤🥰
I have that same pistol, changed to G10 handles, Hogue flinger grips, Valkyrie Dynamics compensator and night sights😁😁
i'd like to see a pic of that. I have not accessorized any of my 1911's.
I have the same exact gun. The best thing I did was change the 2 piece guide rod for a GI. It's favorite gun to shoot.
I want to go to GI guide rod also
@@erik22lax Wilson combat GI rod(bullet proof stainless). I also got shock buffers and custom spring kit from Wilson. Great price and great results. Fairly easy to install.
@@guidoquigley9524 what was the weight (pound resistance) on the spring?
@@erik22lax cusom tune spring kit #324g comes with 10lb for light load and 18.5lb for factory load. I used the 18.5.
Full length guide rod is more mechanicaly correct..
Interesting on the older Loaded models it says "1911-A1" on the slide instead of "Loaded" 🤷♂️
when I bought it online I wasn't sure what was going to be written on the slide b/c the pic wasn't accurate and I was going by the SKU #
@@erik22lax oh really? Hmm they changed it is guess ..I should have kept mine very accurate pistol..👍
@@erik22lax I traded mine for a HK USP45 but I think the 1911 is better tho ...I no longer have them I change my mind ALot lol smh😂
@@blackticalmayhem8461 it is a discontinued model now-I found one of the last ones from a sports store in Louisiana
@@erik22lax nice definitely keep it 👍👍
Yes. It will do that and more

How long is the barrel
5"
I would absolutely DIE to own an AMT Silverballer....
❤
Nice
Nice looking 1911, however I had heard Springfield quality has really fallen off over the past few years...Crossed cannons on grips!!!
Sadly yes the consensus seems to be there qc isn't what it used to be although all mine I haven't had issues with but others have commented they have. My criticism is they are recycling old designs and repackaging them like Glock does.
Wowowow
Imbel strikes again.
What is the brand name?
Springfield Armory
Jolie....
Are Tisas 1911's any good? Been seeing them on Buds constantly
No experience with them personally
They're nice pistols and shoot great
