I don't know if I can handle even being a fan of his anymore. Redundancy isn't even the word I would use to describe his method of content creation. At least not without tagging "ad nauseam" directly after. I never really thought that his brain was fried because of whatever alcohol and possible substances he was jamming into his system. I thought that was just a sort of lame joke or observation that stuck with him. However, seeing him talk and interact with people, is much different compared to how he was saying, 10 years ago. While I do think it's also a state of complacency with him, his entire being is crammed into this persona he's tried to make for himself that he is somehow afflicted with some sort of cross to bear, both culturally and socially. Constantly carries on about how he is ridiculed because of his autism, when we all know it really doesn't stem from that. For about 80% of the people that follow him, and about 50% of the people that actually interact with him outside of his apartment. The excuse wears old and fast. It's almost as if he has plateaued directly after his first documentary. That put a sense of false importance into him, giving him enough courage to sort of think and say, as well as do, as he pleased without adhering to social barriers even more so despite his supposed handicap. Do I still root for the guy? Yeah. I think if he was able to be around some halfway decent people, he would get out of this phase to varying degrees and actually do things rather than wait for people to notice him that bars are on the internet. Would I want to be his friend? Probably not. Not only would my life be under a microscope and complet ely nitpicked alongside his, I wouldn't be able to take the consistent nonsense that follows him even when the camera is off of him. I do think that it's great he stopped streaming for hours on end. I know that it won't last very long, but it's still okay to have just tidbits, rather than incessant banter for 80 minutes straight just to prove one single point. It's also extremely cringe-worthy to have to bear witness to his little CZcams shorts. It's not funny, and the troll jokes and all that make me cringe to the point of my testicle shrinking back into my stomach. I think that has to do with the fact that, again, I'm still rooting for the dude in some capacity. Here I am, pointing out his social imperfections, all the while carrying on about him doing so to the point where I myself come across as completely redundant. Such is life, I suppose. Also....please forgive the lack of sentence structure, as well as possible spelling errors. I am dictating this in to my phone as I am walking from campus. It's much easier to convey what I'm saying now,rather than waiting till I get to the library.....where I'll probably forget or lose interest. Cheers
