He raised a ton of money against cancer, and eventually lost his battle to it. This song reminds me he taught me everything I know about Minecraft, but also in a way to cherish life after anything that happens, just as this beautifully sung song.
I couldn’t help but think of this song, after I got told my grandfather figure passed away. Especially since he and Grandma always went away for the winter and came back for the Spring and Summer. He may not have been blood, but he was still family. We may not have been his grandkids, but he treated us like them. RIP John.
