Since I've been challenged to a tandem by the legendary drifter, ‪@daigosaito.87‬ , I wanted to get some practice in at the infamous Ebisu circuit... so to prepare myself, I'm spending 12 days in at the Ebisu Drift Playground in Japan! After all, I've never drifted before, and it turns out it's much harder than it looks. 2 more episodes to go, and the intensity will be ramping up VERY quickly!

I honestly think it’s a bit harder in video games since you don’t have that tactile feedback. A lot of good IRL drifters struggle on simulators because of that.

10:32 I’m glad you’re learning in japan because of stuff like this. In North America everyone seems to think you need the latest and greatest to drift. In japan they seem to use whatever works. You don’t need a hydraulic handbrake, and Wisefab angle kit to drift 🗣️

That's really interesting. For sure, the vibe I got in Japan was "if it runs, it'll drift." We of course saw some pretty crazy builds too, but even those guys have beater practice cars.
