  • Here's a new addition to the Takoma Park fleet, and quite a cool one too. Coming from a fleet made up of entirely Leaches, a brand new one for them was no surprise. The new Mack chassis was though since their fleet before this was all Autocar. The cabover Mack paired with the massive Leach body actually looks really sharp, even more so than the Autocars. Cool to see the new Leach tippers on the back as well. Enjoy these fast guys knocking out a manual trash route in Takoma Park!
Thanks to the awesome guys for letting me film!
    Thanks for watching!

Now that's how you do it. Not running around all crazy panic, but just 2 guys who know their roles and know how to be efficient with a practiced pace. That was something to see.

Definitely agree. Not all about speed, efficiency is key.

Great view of the crusher, sometimes the dustcarts smell as you go past them, what I call a bit of a rivvy smell

Usually don’t like leach videos mainly cause the packer is always so slow😒😒😒. BUT this was one of the fastest ones I’ve seen! Not to mention it’s on a MRU which is pretty dope imo. Overall pretty cool crew and a great video👍

Thanks for the comment! I think you filmed a cool MRU Leach with a slow blade awhile ago if I remember correctly 🤣🤣

Awesome work! I really dig the look of this truck, a modern version of my favorite classic Mack/Leach combo. That blade was super fast, kept it super interesting. I’m waiting on a video to pop up of these tippers on a fully carted route, it looks like they’d do pretty good, based on how good they did with the carts here.

@@robmoney4life I have 2 of them and they are heavy to pick up and move. I know around here not every city has tippers on there trucks, but lots of home owners have the cans and I'm sure the cans make things more difficult.

City of Rocky River, Ohio has a 31-32 Yard Leach just like that one only with a freightliner chassis. Pretty nice truck I think it in Ohio can legally scale 13.4-13.5 tons somewhere around there.
