    As a woman, the one aspect of this very special lifestyle is the connection with spirituality to the physical & metaphysical body through mind. Mind is not brain, we are not body, we are souls, mind, spirit, the power within us all, is of greatness, but few have channeled it because they are too grounded in materialism & that makes us weak. These people have never lost their true identity and never strayed from their true path, they are as near to their nature as one can be, through Buddhism & nature with respect for all life they show us all that we are strong when we find ourselves within x

    A Shaolin Monk practicing his art in that particular spot is one purposefully chosen. He would have to initially have a tendency to rarely have any fear at all in order to do this kata without having to worry about focusing on "If I make a mistake I'm a dead man". These folks learn these Katas

    Important goal!

    • @recoveringsoul755
      @recoveringsoul755 Před 3 lety +5

      you're kidding right? Or you must hang around with the wrong people. Some type of important goal: like going to college, actually graduating, going beyond for masters degree, and PhD. Any trade school and moving up those ranks, all military, any position that requires training and expertise even musicians and artists. You don't know anyone? Maybe you're speaking about yourself. Even looking for a job is a goal of importance with many steps involved. Learning a language, planning a trip, losing weight, gaining muscle, home repairs or remodeling, growing a garden. Anything unless you do absolutely nothing, and even then you may be doing a lot according to your abilities at the time.

    • @recoveringsoul755
      @recoveringsoul755 Před 3 lety +2

      @Jinkai Wang I have accomplished most of what I listed except the military stuff. I have also raised children and got them into college, bought a home, paid it off early, lost about 60 lbs and then built muscle and trained to climb a mountain with my son. About a year to lose the weight and another year of training for the backpacking trip, thirsty for any knowledge I could get from anyone who had ever done that. We successfully climbed to the summit of the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states, but that was a few years ago when I was 50. I couldn't do it now. But it was one of the most interesting and rewarding things I've ever done, even if I was the only woman there and other people were trying to tell me I wouldn't like it or trying to get me to quit. Screw them. I love being out in nature. One of my favorite moments is when I came face to face with a black bear on the trail. Then her little cub showed up. I got some great photos. Watching the Perseid Meteor Shower at 12,000 feet elevation without any light pollution was amazing.
      When I was fat and tired easily and dealt with cancer, I never thought I'd be climbing a mountain someday. Don't sell yourself short.

      You can't tell which way a rotating object is turning with a video. Video is a periodic sampling and if the samples line up with different positions of the drill bit, it will appear to be going in reverse. The nyquist criteria requires that the video frame rate must be at twice the speed of the object being recorded.
      Just watch old western movies and you'll notice the wagon wheels appear to change direction several times as it slows to a stop.
