  • Most newbies in the helicopter world believe Hover ist the most challenging and most important thing to learn.
And if you watched my previous videos and followed the advice given, and of course, train allots, you are already able to hover.
But there is still something to say about hovering -how to get into it the right and easy way and how to train and improve it.
And to be honest, Many of you may not follow my advice, and instead, they are trying to achieve a faster success or at least have instant fun flying around.
Therefore let's start again with some basics. This video may be a review of already explained steps, but this time only focused on how to hover.

Hello, thanks to your videos I have improved my skill with the Huey a lot! You explain very well.
A tutorial for cargo handling, please! Until the hitch, everything is fine, but rising with the load, flying with it and leaving it again, is a real hell!

Great video however for clarity many time you mention t he machine moves to the right when actually it is "Yawing" to the right. Mike - Regards!

Thank you. The important thing is you figured out by yourself. Perfect. Sometimes i am to focused on things and left and right is confusing to me. 😉😂

      Hi Jos
      Thank you for your feedback.
If you like and depending on your time zone you may join Ouer Helicopter Squad for single or group training and fling mission.
Visit our DISCORD. You find all the Information in the DCS Forum. 👍

Would be cool to try DCS for helicopter simulations. I want to fly helicopters someday

That's what I do to keep my piloting skills, and there are many others using DCS to start a Pilot career. DCS and the UH-1 module is good enough for that, but you need an instructor.
It will be expensive or eaven dangerous to correct bad habits established in DCS later in real life flight.
