Designed to the Nines, if your lamp shade when taken apart has wire at the bottom of it I use that for wreath forms 😉. They are often the perfect size and shape! Hope that helps!

Yes!! More patio/pool ideas to brighten up the space...we also have a backyard pool...and is ALL brick pavers at the moment, surrounding the whole pool deck area...(but not enclosed as yours is) as we are in B.C. Canada...am excited for summer!

As soon as I saw that cubicle organizer shelf I knew you had to get. It's so much like the ones you made you table from. I actually had a really good idea on something you can make from lamps shades, so maybe hang on to it for a week. I plan on making one for spring and Easter DIY open invite hosted by Heidi Sonboul later in the week. Loved the lamp posts.

You can use that lampshade to spray for weeds in the garden. It will control where you spray.

Recently, I was thinking about your first lamp post project as a solution to a problem I encountered a little over a week ago while working on a Mardi Gras fundraiser for a local nonprofit. We needed to put up directional signs (to restrooms, to raffles, to auction, etc.). I made the signs, but then we had no place to put them because we couldn't put them on the wall. It was too late to do anything really good about it but afterward, your lamp post came to mind. It would be a perfect solution to the problem. I have a year to come up with the solution. I have a year to look for components- post, lantern, etc. - I am thinking that starting with a suitable floor lamp might be a good thing. Thanks for the inspiration!

I just made these and absolutely love them. Like you, plants don't do well for me so instead of flowers I used white rocks, 2 small low maintenance hen and chicks per black planter. I will add silk autumn colored flowers next month. Thank you so much for the easy and economical project.

But WAIT... Save the Shades and brake them down for parts, they probably have metal rings in them. You can use them to make something else like a Macrame wall hanging or a Wreath, you are so talented and creative and that's why I love you and your channel!!!

Great idea! I don’t think I would save the shades BUT sometimes I like to cut the rings out of the top and bottom because the rings can always come in handy!

Hope Thrift is the best. I have found so many treasures there. There are two other Hope Thrift stores one is on 92 in Kissimmee and the other in Dundee. Another great thrift store is Give Thrift in Davenport on 27.

Nice! FYI: for brighter light from your led solar lamps, use some bright metalic silver multi-purpose acrylic paint & paint the inside lid of the lamp around the bulb. The result is a little brighter light thats noticeable.

Cute lamp conversion Natalee🥰❗️You need more though. Your pool area is so large, you might want to make a few similar solar sconces to around the perimeter window frame. Use faux foliage if you have a “black thumb”..😂🤣😂🤣. ...WARNING WARNING WARNING: A Trash to Treasure Violation in progress😱: “Lamp Shades”..these shades are our friends (a little paint and or fabric) can be used as a base for patio side tables. ...Meanwhile happy neighborhood thrifting❗️
Great suggestions! Yes my pool deck is in definite need of a makeover it needs a whole bunch of furniture and a whole bunch of love. We’re working our way through our house making rooms over. We purchased it furnished so it’s not how I would’ve done it from the start but got to do it little by little.
The results are gorgeous and I am SO jealous that you can plant flowers right now. Your pool is absolutely gorgeous too. (I wore flip flops the other day because....well....I’m sick of winter wear and people laughed at me ...it was 37°!). Sometimes a girl just has to think spring!!
