- Steve Yanovsky (RN, Rt-R, EMT-P, CRCST, CIS, CER, CHL) explains topics related to safety as they pertain to the CRCST examination by the HSPA. In this clip we discuss physical, biological and chemical hazards.
I’ve completed my online courses a year ago and your videos have been very helpful as for a refresher. I recently just applied for a position and got the job as a sterile tech!
Super!
How is the job doing? How you like it so far?
Wow! Finally, new vids from Mr. Steve! 😀😀 Thank you.
More on the way
Having a phone interview tomorrow for Central Sterile Processing Technician. I have a degree in Microbiology but I don't have a lot of work experience in that area. Found your videos and I have been refreshing the concepts in order to prepare myself for the interview. I'm motivated and positive.
Keep up the good work!
That's great let us know how you do. Looking forward to great news.
@@BostonCareerInstitute Well... it didn't work. I'll keep searching since I believe to have what it takes.
Keep up the good work!
@@drakealexander6668 what did they ask you and how did you respond?
@@BostonCareerInstitute the call was mostly to confirm my resume. About if I was working and willing to work. They explained the position and what was needed. She asked me for GED but I have a bachelor's in Microbiology. I don't have a BLS but she said it was no problem. Then the dreaded salary question to which I said between $18 to $25 an hour.
I was positive and I'm honestly motivated about it. I went over my experience working around medical staff because I was a Quality inspector for an environmental cleaning company.
Overall, it was a great call.
@@drakealexander6668 don't forget about the answer about the money, "I will consider any reasonable offer that you would make to your best candidate"

Love from Pakistan I just have prepared from your videos and cleared my CRCST examination last year and am planning to do CIS or CER soon .Can you guide me from where I can prepare . Thanks for your hard work and really appreciate your teaching style.
Congratulations my friend. I'll be posting some more videos soon. I suggest starting with the CER exam and use my old video to prepare. That should be enough. CIS is a bit more complex unless you are well versed in the instruments.
PS thanks for the Love :))
Do they really pose math and anatomy questions?
Great video! But so distracting to have constant man talking in background (should turn his mic off)
You're right. I didn't notice that. Will replace the video if I can.
@Boston Career Institute, thank you for your constant help, even when you were under the whether that day. 💯💯💯
@@snellis3607 happy to do it. Thank you for being here.
