@@Lifesizemortal Your right. Criminal behavior started after the invention of firearms 😮💨 They are "brave" because they don't like their other options or are limited on options. The justice system is a joke right now and lets violent offenders out with a slap on the wrist in some cases. If someone is willing to commit a violent act against society then those being targeted should not have to rely on a responsive force to keep them safe. If its not shootings, its stabbings and blunt trauma. If its not that its fists and chocking. Crime will never go away unless the cost of doing crime becomes worse than the reward.

Have you read the full statistics of gun deaths Over half are accidental shootings. A large percentage are suicide. Of the mass shootings that weren’t someone accidentally firing in a crowd of four or more people, most (94% approximately) were handguns, the rest were rifles and seldomly AR type firearms. Only one time has it been alleged to have been equipped with a bump stock. Most mass shootings are gang and drug related. We have a right to protect ourselves, the average response time from a 911 call is around 10 minutes. It only takes seconds for a criminal to take a life. If you think gun control is going to solve anything you are sadly mistaken, all it succeeds in is disproportionately put the criminals in the advantage. Hitler promised the Germans that by taking away their gun rights would save lives. Once disarmed he slaughtered many unarmed German citizens prior to unleashing his psychosis on the Jews. This isn’t totally dissimilar to what is being attempted here in America.

I live in a blue sanctuary city and we're not allowed to have firearms because of our gun free zones. I bought an air horn and a can of mace to protect my family.
Since 2004, there have been well over 150,000 deaths due to DUI. The annual average is over 10,000 per year. So, using the same logic, we should be banning cars because it’s the cars that are responsible, not the drunken drivers.

I remember a time, about a decade ago, our then super president who was going to fix the world by talking down to his people, forced the CDC to do a study on guns. The result of the study was to conclude it's a complicated issue, so the study was hidden and never talked about it again.

Yes gun violence is so bad I remember in the 60’s when they started trying to take guns away I seen a couple of times they caught kids with guns but l had been stabbed around 10 times in junior high and high school I use to ware a leather vest through school in those years fortunately none of the kids I went to school with knew how to Sharpen a knife so all I ever got were bruised ribs and a sore back because at the time like nowadays you couldn’t complain about gangs of kids pick in on a lone kid and because whites are supposed to be evil if 2 or more ever got together they would be separated and put into different classes and lunch at different times so they would be alone because it’s harder for a gang of thugs to jump on a group of people so you have to keep them separated and alone which is harder nowadays because people have cellular phones and can still talk to one another. But they’re still trying to take away guns because you can’t have people aloud to defend themselves against criminals who I’m starting to thing work for the judges DA’s and a lot of politicians

Well if it is a public health risk, we need to apply some good old scientific research to solve the problem, right? Start by breaking down the "gun" crime. Who is "contracting" it and why? Where is it occurring? What is the demographic breakdown of gun crime offenders? Are there pre-existing conditions, like gang membership? Drug use? Who are the most likely victims? Oddly for a "medical" concern "surgeon general" will apply none of the usual scientific methods to get to the root of the disease. I wonder why.
So, defending your house and loved ones is now criminal, well according to the U.S Surgeon General it is, he must see defending oneself as a criminal act because it is part of the problem. He must side with people breaking in your home and doing God knows what with your loved ones and you. It is ok if the person entering your home kills you is all I heard, and you better not do anything about it. He is a tarator to the people and wants to see people died.

I recently saw a comment by a British CZcamsr who talked about how the Brits have a lot of black communities like the US, yet the crime with guns and killings is much, much lower than in the US. They’ve also started included 19 year olds in shooting statistics of children. And it’s always mass shootings that they’re talking about. Reality is, most gun deaths are people taking their lives because we live in such a messed up society where selfishness and judgement are glorified. But that’s not what they’re doing here. They’re focusing on mass shootings because they can prey on the people’s fear to manipulate them. They don’t actually care if we’re killing each other. It’s about control.
