7:20 actually it doesn't get better, the dispersion just nearly doesn't get bigger (it gets better compared to other battleships, because they start (slightly) better, but get more dispersion way faster)

Just did that in Yamato. No big deal. As I posted above, the ship is good for sure.. But I don't think it's broken. I guess once it's released, stats will show. I think Flamu could make any ship look broken tho haha

Fact is it has good dispersion, penetration and shell velocity and u might not need as much time or games for such a video than in any other battleship. 😉
funnily enough the battleship that was capable of doing that IRL cannot do so in the game the Iowa guns are insanely accurate and that is why they kept the WWII era technology when they upgraded them in the 1980's, there was no need to change what already worked fine

Well my best actual guess is Soviet guided missle tech, but apart from that idk. Wouldn't be the first time wg put cold war era ships up against ships designed in the 30s, or even earler.
i guess the issue is that the russian BB line's gimick is that they are suposed to be good at close range and bad at long range. their tier 9 sovietsky soyuz does that well, while their tier 10 kremlin does that well while also not having significant downsides to really be considered bad at long range (dispersion is good enough to be reliable past 14km and you also have large calliber guns with better penetration, as oposed to soyuz carrying the same guns as the tier 8 BB that preceeds it)

I have plenty of experience in a German BB being within 5km of a full broadside CA or BB and all my shots missing. That is crazy that it seems you can get 3+ citadels on a ship at 20km+ on a consistent basis.

It's going to be a silver ship next to Kreml. Who in their right mind would get Kreml before this? Don't get me wrong, I will definitely be getting Kreml, but only after I get Slava if it remains like this.

Comrade, is only warm up before Soviet subs with hypersonic torpedoes. Opponents have "just dodge!" as useful counterplay against torps running over 200 knots. Perfectly balanced, working as intended, almost as much fun as the great CV rework!!!

The caliber is right but the speed plays a huge factor on it. Newton second law F=m.a, if look for the more advanced calculus on this law(calculus about collision) you see that those shells have the same penetration power as the Super Yamato fictional 510mm cannons

I mean, we have been wanting more consistent and yet punishable BBs rather than turtle back and bent cannons for quite a while now... But this this seems way over the top. American high tier BBs and Yamato for example. That's fairly decent dispersion we like and if they give broadside they can get punished fairly easy. But we did not ask for dispersion so disgusting that not even a cruiser can compete with it AFAIK. Especially not when coupled with amazing velocity, penetration AND drag. It's simply too much power tbh. And on top of that amazing AA and turret rotation. Both those should be complete trash if given this much power AT LEAST. The next best sniper...Yamato, has worse armor (weak spots), worse penetration, worse dispersion, worse drag, worse AA, worse turret rotation. I mean what? Nah, this needs fixing. I mean, I like that they're playing with making BBs more consistent ofc I hate complete RNGesus prayers every volley but this is too much.
Leaving it as it is, removing heal and damacon won't even make that ship balanced. Definition of fun for me are the premium RN BBs. Especially the Vanguard. Guns are fairly consistent, they reload fast and hit like a truck but that citadel is raised and will remind you it's there if you make a mistake. That Russian boi looks like it doesn't even care about its own weaknesses.
This dispersion is like the Iowa mod 1945. They had a gun test of the Iowa with a 1945 re-fit of the radar control system. They set up an actively maneuvering german DD at over 30 km away. The first shots of the Iowa straddled the DD. Mod 1945 Iowa should be the T10 BB for the US line.
I've noticed One Thing, Reality is Going out of the Window in the game, The CV rework is crazy 2xCV's = No Fun, Ships built before Aircraft could carry a gun let alone a bomb getting battered with no AA defence to speak of, T8 matchmaking,, that's fun as well, Carry on the Great Work Flamu a bit of Sanity is refreshing to say the least 👍
Belfast is nowhere near this broken. Easy to counter Belfast, just rush it head on. It has no torps, is slow to move and no armour. Nothing like this OP pos.

I was in a game with a clan mate. I was in audatios , he was in monty vs this thing. The monty lost 1/2 of health true the nouse from the first salvo. I went on to bomb him - 0 damage on him.
Why the hell would anyone play any ships other than this broken pos? Even with the US 406 guns you can only barely citadel a broadside yamato 14 km+, and yet here we are with stalinium 406 shells citadelling angled bbs from across the moon with bloody nuclear powered turrets !

@@AtotheK101 There's only one CV allowed per a team in clan battles, right? Most people don't bring Minotaurs and CVs have nullified the old meta of destroyers smoking up Worcesters. The only variation that makes sense is HIVs to counter Stalingrads, but they are even more vulnerable to CV hate. So rather than shitting on an idea that we WOULD see (someone would try it, you can be sure) don't you think the Pobeda would change the meta?
No I dont think it would change the meta massively. The ship that will define the meta will be for sure the CV (And I think Haku would be the better choice because of many cruisers and AP bombs) if they don't nerf them drastically. And HIVs will still have a place. They will just operate in pairs, like u probably have seen it in KOTS, for better AA protection. Sry for being a bit overboard with my first comment but I hate it when people start writing such stuff.

Because obviously when you combine extreme muzzle velocity with lightweight shells you get amazing dispersion, not awful dispersion! Meanwhile, all German bbs have 1.8 sigma as a result, French bbs have sigma as bad as 1.5 and or have bad dispersion to boot. But the Pobeda? The glorious and amazing Soviet navy managed to somehow solve this issue so well that it has a max dispersion of 205m with a 1.9 sigma and 870 m/s muzzle velocity with shells that weigh roughly 100kg more than GKs 406 shells at 1,050 kg. Plus add the lowest dispersion of all tier x bbs on live is GK with 250m that has a 1.8 sigma... gimme a break.
Pobeda does not get more accurate the greater the range. Flamu is wording things in a highly misleading manner. Pobeda's dispersion at 24.7km, aka her stock range, is 208m when using Aiming Systems Mod 1. Increasing the range via the range module to 28.6km gives a dispersion of 218m, still using Aiming Systems Mod 1. All stats obviously WiP. The basic rule of getting more accurate guns the closer you are still applies. That is a fact.
Yet another classic example of WG pampering their wet dreams of a glorious fleet that never existed. Broken Russian paper Cruisers, Broken Russian paper Destroyers, so Why even bother with other Nation's tree lines at this point. just turn this game into World of Paper Russianships. Disgusting

Repub has one of the best pens in the game aswell, but the guns are inconsistent af sometimes. I really love her, but without dispersion Mod this thing is at range unplayable

@@dragonfang2473 Yep. A very useful tool for assisting you against enemy CVs. The green zone gets more of your AA damage, whilst the other zone loses that much efficiency. Highly useful if your ship has decent AA, and still worth doing if you can manage it in any other ship as well
Far my calculations I did this BB have the same penetration as the yamato 510mm guns(never implement), so yeah that thing can blast anything regardless the angle, maybe that means that WG is thinking about putting the Super Yamato as tier X premium and probably giving the 480mm guns for the G. Kurfürst also as separate premium ship
The whole 'become more accurate the further away you are' reminds me a lot of the IS3-A after its rework in WoT a few months ago. I'd just like to ask for clarification btw - by 'more accurate' do you mean the ship is simply _comparatively_ better at range than other battleships (ie. opposite of the other Soviet battleships) or it _literally_ has decreased dispersion at range?

@@UnintentionalSubmarine Thank you! That's very helpful. Not to say that the ship is fine as-is, but knowing that the better dispersion is only a relative thing makes me feel like Flamu claim that this thing is actively encouraged to stay at range is a bit misleading - at least in absolute terms.
Not entirely though, as at range gets a lessened effect of any vertical dispersion, meanwhile at close range vertical dispersion will cause misses of the citadel since it is significantly more impacted by shell speed. It's a complex issue, but the effect really is that from 18-24km this ship is in her best zone. Her shells might disperse more to the sides relatively, but up and down are less likely to miss the target. So the gains of getting closer from the graph, isn't making up for the greater impact of the vertical dispersion.
As a BB main im excited to try it out public test, becasue i think its pretty cool really consistent BB guna at long range but its definitely kinda op maybe reduce the pen but keep the accuracy. Plus i feel like the play style would get boring sit in the back snipping not all that fun.

Definition of fun for me are the premium RN BBs. Especially the Vanguard.
Guns are fairly consistent, they reload fast and hit like a truck but that citadel is raised and will remind you it's there if you make a mistake. That Russian boi looks like it doesn't even care about its own weaknesses.

This dispersion is like the Iowa mod 1945. They had a gun test of the Iowa with a 1945 re-fit of the radar control system. They set up an actively maneuvering german DD at over 30 km away. The first shots of the Iowa straddled the DD.
Mod 1945 Iowa should be the T10 BB for the US line.

I've noticed One Thing, Reality is Going out of the Window in the game, The CV rework is crazy 2xCV's = No Fun, Ships built before Aircraft could carry a gun let alone a bomb getting battered with no AA defence to speak of, T8 matchmaking,, that's fun as well, Carry on the Great Work Flamu a bit of Sanity is refreshing to say the least 👍

I was in a game with a clan mate. I was in audatios , he was in monty vs this thing. The monty lost 1/2 of health true the nouse from the first salvo. I went on to bomb him - 0 damage on him.

@@AtotheK101 There's only one CV allowed per a team in clan battles, right? Most people don't bring Minotaurs and CVs have nullified the old meta of destroyers smoking up Worcesters. The only variation that makes sense is HIVs to counter Stalingrads, but they are even more vulnerable to CV hate.
So rather than shitting on an idea that we WOULD see (someone would try it, you can be sure) don't you think the Pobeda would change the meta?
No I dont think it would change the meta massively. The ship that will define the meta will be for sure the CV (And I think Haku would be the better choice because of many cruisers and AP bombs) if they don't nerf them drastically. And HIVs will still have a place. They will just operate in pairs, like u probably have seen it in KOTS, for better AA protection. Sry for being a bit overboard with my first comment but I hate it when people start writing such stuff.

Because obviously when you combine extreme muzzle velocity with lightweight shells you get amazing dispersion, not awful dispersion!
Meanwhile, all German bbs have 1.8 sigma as a result, French bbs have sigma as bad as 1.5 and or have bad dispersion to boot.
But the Pobeda? The glorious and amazing Soviet navy managed to somehow solve this issue so well that it has a max dispersion of 205m with a 1.9 sigma and 870 m/s muzzle velocity with shells that weigh roughly 100kg more than GKs 406 shells at 1,050 kg. Plus add the lowest dispersion of all tier x bbs on live is GK with 250m that has a 1.8 sigma... gimme a break.
Pobeda does not get more accurate the greater the range. Flamu is wording things in a highly misleading manner. Pobeda's dispersion at 24.7km, aka her stock range, is 208m when using Aiming Systems Mod 1. Increasing the range via the range module to 28.6km gives a dispersion of 218m, still using Aiming Systems Mod 1. All stats obviously WiP.
The basic rule of getting more accurate guns the closer you are still applies. That is a fact.

@@dragonfang2473 Yep. A very useful tool for assisting you against enemy CVs. The green zone gets more of your AA damage, whilst the other zone loses that much efficiency. Highly useful if your ship has decent AA, and still worth doing if you can manage it in any other ship as well

Far my calculations I did this BB have the same penetration as the yamato 510mm guns(never implement), so yeah that thing can blast anything regardless the angle, maybe that means that WG is thinking about putting the Super Yamato as tier X premium and probably giving the 480mm guns for the G. Kurfürst also as separate premium ship

The whole 'become more accurate the further away you are' reminds me a lot of the IS3-A after its rework in WoT a few months ago.
I'd just like to ask for clarification btw - by 'more accurate' do you mean the ship is simply _comparatively_ better at range than other battleships (ie. opposite of the other Soviet battleships) or it _literally_ has decreased dispersion at range?
Comparatively, even Pobeda gets more accurate as she closes in, but not terribly much so. At long range she is more accurate than even Azuma/Yoshino.

Not to say that the ship is fine as-is, but knowing that the better dispersion is only a relative thing makes me feel like Flamu claim that this thing is actively encouraged to stay at range is a bit misleading - at least in absolute terms.
Not entirely though, as at range gets a lessened effect of any vertical dispersion, meanwhile at close range vertical dispersion will cause misses of the citadel since it is significantly more impacted by shell speed. It's a complex issue, but the effect really is that from 18-24km this ship is in her best zone. Her shells might disperse more to the sides relatively, but up and down are less likely to miss the target. So the gains of getting closer from the graph, isn't making up for the greater impact of the vertical dispersion.
As a BB main im excited to try it out public test, becasue i think its pretty cool really consistent BB guna at long range but its definitely kinda op maybe reduce the pen but keep the accuracy. Plus i feel like the play style would get boring sit in the back snipping not all that fun.
