This episode skyrocketed Evil Morty as a villain he doesn’t want to kill Rick just be free of him and his dominant universes an incredible twist with major consequences for the future and the best part is he won

They cut off all the other universes where there’s beings smarter than them because they don’t want to be challenged. So it’s unlikely that the Rick that killed our Rick’s family would’ve gone to a dimension like that before the curve was created.

The curves one constant is "Rick is smartest in the universe." What if killer Rick wasn't the smartest in his universe, or just wasn't smart enough to make the curve. Our Rick could have fuked himself over by crating the curve, inadvertently making it so that he could literally never find his families killer. Would be ironic that a Morty enables Rick to do something he never could by destroying the curve.
as in mabye the rick that he wanted wasn't even that smart which could be a realisation later on for rick. Whose whole sense of imortance is defined by how smart he is. Knowing that the person who ruined his life, who had the most effect on him wasn't even that smart could be a great character moment

Our Rick on his goal to kill the Rick who killed his family, he killed so many different Ricks that all the other Ricks formed an alliance to defeat our Rick but lost, instead deciding to submit to our Rick. After that the leaders remaining from the alliance worked with our Rick to form the Citadel which was used to create the finite curve which basically separated all universes where Rick is the smartest from every other Universe. Then Rick left and went to go find a new family where he can co-exist with. The Citadel at the time was just Ricks but after realizing the potential of Mortys started mass producing them which ended up creating the identity of Evil Morty, a Morty who learned the truth. This Morty simply then wanted to be able to exist outside the bubble Rick created, he wanted to exist in a universe where Rick isn't the main character.

Exactly. The writers try to make it very clear with each season finale how nobody should aspire to be like rick, that he's not a good person, even he himself realizes this. But this finale teaches empathy (quite literally with the empathy crows) and then by revealing rick's full backstory, not just the bad but the good as well. In classic anime fashion.
Even tho rick isnt that great a guy and you shouldnt want to be like him, and even though he tries almost desperately to distance himself from every aspect of life that makes him human, the show reveals there is a very human reason for why he is the way he is.

The mcu opening up the multiverse was such a genius move cos now they can literally bring in other franchises like the old spiderman and if they wanted deadpool, x men or even Blade if they felt like it and paid for it. In Rick Potion #9, Rick says they can only hop dimensions a few more times, which doesn't really make sense considering that there's infinite number of them. But now we know the reason is because they can only hop to one where the Rick who died was the smartest in the dimension

I thought this was gonna be a last ep for evil morty but i guess they’re continuing the story. I thought it wouldve ended with rick somehow making it where if anyone was able to leave it would kill them like evil morty did with the portals.
I thought so to. I really don’t think they’re making any more with him, I thought this was there way of signing off from his character since fans were only really interested in his reappearance for several seasons. I mean if they make more with him I would excited but I bet they’re just finding ways to wrap up plot points they left open so they don’t have to continue adhering to as much canon promises they made earlier in the show.

i don't think the writers intend to do anything else with evil morty (at least not for a long time). season 4 and 5 have made it clear that the writers prefer to stick to the episodic, self contained format most of the time (probably because they have to make at least 50 more episodes). the last few episodes have felt like them truly concluding and wrapping up loose cannon threads (while still providing the opportunity for more later in the future). i think evil morty will never be seen again, or will be seen again seasons from now.
Morty better start working out now because from the looks of things he's going to hit 40 like a car slamming into a concrete wall.
Looks like he works out until 26 then goes down hill.

You guys pointed so many things I missed on first viewing. There’s a lot to digest in this episode.
I do not think will see evil morty for a long time, which is good since he did leave on a high note and they will bring him back when they need to explore the multiverse outside of rick's curve.
It’s probably for the best I mean I sure he’ll return but like you said it’ll be while he won in every way possible he got what he wanted he’s essentially free with his own portal gun too

The curve was made by creating all of those ricks and mortys. It was like he blended a bunch of possibilities together so the machine could find the variable

Those globes were more of the multi-universes, but those space clouds were the separation - the truest expansion pack.
The actual episode where we meet "evil Morty" and rick got his brain scanned was actually episode 10. Idk if they messed up or did it on purpose.
I think since the "first episode" of the show is literally titled *"Pilot",* I don't think it's even considered as an episode. The show REALLY starts of at ep2.

They're showing the memories are still altered. The cracks outside the house are from when the house was transported during Ricks house party. They wouldn't exist yet when Rick first comes back.

My theory as to why Rick cares more about Morty than even his own daughter.
He absolutely loved his wife and daughter..and they died. He never got to have HIS Morty…
Which is why the version of his family he went back to he has stuck with that version of Morty(our MC Morty) through everything, he may not have his original Beth and Wife but he has this Morty and doesn’t want to lose him.

The whole Lich storyline was amazing
This storyline was foreshadowed when the Morty's were walking into the portal specifically without Ricks during Evil Morty's eye patch reveal. This is an "i robot" movie reference to the robot in the story that freed his own kind, like Evil Morty did in the finale.
If Rick is the smartest in his vicinity, why not let people like Evil Morty leave without suppressing him? If he leaves, Rick is still the smartest.
The other question is if he’s only the smartest cuz he made sure everyone around himself weren’t as smart, then doesn’t that mean he defeated those smarter than himself in order to be the only one left?
Lastly, we will probably eventually see the the other Rick that started this all. But that flashback was definitely fake when we first saw it, it showed his wife die but not Beth and then Rick said it was a fake memory and used it to beat the alien bug spy dude. Then Morty was referred to as his hypothetical grandson and Bird Person’s memory of Rick said something about him moving in with an adult version of their dead daughter.
Man, Evil Morty didn't go to float in space forever....he returned to the normal line of universes.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if the reason why Rick sealed off his Multiverses (where he's a genius) into a Central Finite Curve is because he's isolating himself away from his most hated nemesis (not Mr. Nimbus). This nemesis being the most smartest and most dangerous man in the whole Univers. With the exception of the ones Rick sealed off, where said nemesis also has his dumbest versions where he can push around. Yes! Roughly: Evil Morty succeeded breaking out and branching from Rick's heliosphere, the very multiverse spectrum - whereas in that system, he's actually smart within his region while otherwise elsewhere is not due to Evil Morty seeking to evade the loop of the event horizon (a perspective scope). Simply, Evil Morty became Voyager 3 entering a new domain, and portal at a new singularity.
The concept deals with understanding an abundance about dimensional planes.

Crazy how Evil Morty destroyed all the realitys that have a "alpha" Rick. So now our Rick C-137 is the only Rick. And now he has no portal gun. And no fuel because the only fuel was made in the depths of the citadel

There is literally no where to run and one day Rick would of found him if he hadn't already killed him.. Now every other rick seems to be dead but there are still thousands of Morties. With the finite curve destroyed the episodes can take place anywhere.. Realities where Rick could be the dumbest guy in a universe of ultra-genius' he can't even comprehend.

I mean, if everyone is ganging up on you and you've crushed them, why build them a base to regroup if you've had no trouble killing them this whole time? Some Rick at some point intentionally(dark Rick possibly) or unintentional just constantly recreated a series of events in every universe that he's the smartest in the infinite multiverse to single out a infinite multiverse where he rules. So all the people in those universes he's the always a top dog and all the characters are pawns. Maybe that's the nature of multiverses? We seen that in Loki with Kang, now Rick, and knowing that there are being smarter than him makes me thing that every multiverse is destined to be dominated. Anyways that's my take from it.

bros..this episode is...i dunno..is so well writen...and how they gave us the meaning why is rick doing all this travelling thing, they just put another rick´s enemy, the real one, the rick who killed is family inthe history. evil morty i think is gone for 1 to 2 seasons. they made this episode for us to understand some things that were just theories on the internet, they tell us that they see what fans post and discussions, "dead wife unh? -yeah so everybody can just shut up now"how they go from ep 9 to this on ep 10? how they wrote this? bruuh...

Yes he did find evil rock season1 episode 10, at this point it's just the end of an eon! But this is so awsome the way it all ends, Rick and Morty is finally over. We can all put it to rest now
We definitely won't see evil morty for a long time but its definitely a fact now that like rick Evil morty will have his own domain of universes.
Just something to think about: After all these questions...After all these theories about this series, no one has ever noticed that in none of these infinite Rick's worlds do we ever see another Diane (Rick's wife). There are infinite Ricks, Mortys, Jerrys, Beths, Summers...But only ONE Diane ever existed and died. Think about THAT...
If you notice in the intro of the show there is a frame where morty play golf without rick (a scene too normal), do you think he is evil morty in the new dimension where the bound between Rick and morty is broken or never existed?
@RT TV Bruh, the fact that Pat was the only one at the couch who has seen The Truman Show is a travesty. It was one of the earliest examples of Jim Carrey showing that he was capable of playing a serious role. Like the movie definitely presents itself as a kind of comedy at first, but the implications of it all quickly changes that toon. Pat, you need to get these guys to react to the Truman show. I think it would be a worthwhile reaction and be something you guys could have a really good debate about afterwards.

This also leads to an odd question of Rick's hostility towards Jerries. Clearly they all only use Jerry to make sure beth specifically has morty. Dont know how they figured out this level of manipulation or how they learned what mortys do for ricks but still they in a way needed Jerry.

Our rick never knew about the mass producing of morty's. so he always just assumed that in every universe beth meets jerry automatically when in actual fact the citadel forced all beths to meet jerry's

@@user-rl3oy7em8g because the citadel's morty mass production scheme was hiding behind the dome of mortys that were being tortured seen in Season 1 Epsiode 10. which is why in that episode (S1E9) Rick is so surprised when they see the dome of mortys hanging from the wall having knives plunged into their sides. Rick even says in that episode "Well one Morty's enough to hide you from the bureaucrats, but you get a whole matrix of Morty's and put them in agonizing pain, that creates a pattern that can hide even from other Ricks". Rick created the citadel but he doesn't run it and doesn't know what's going on inside of it. He never even knew that there was a Morty President.

Maybe the Rick that killed the Rick in the shows family is outside of the original curve and plot twist evil Morty need to go outside the curve to kill that Rick which would stop the Rick in the show from losing his family which would stop him from going into depression and taking it out on Morty the Morty's win in the end
