OMNIA speelt "PaganFolk", een zeer unieke vorm van Oer-Keltische en Wereldmuziek, waarin de Natuur, de Levende Planeet en persoonlijke vrijheid de centrale thema's vormen. De bijzondere handgemaakte akoestische instrumenten die de band gebruikt, hebben op vele, Keltische, "Mittelalter", Gothic, Wereldmuziek en Fantasy festivals in Europa, maar ook tijdens OMNIA's succesvolle theater en clubtours in oa. Nederland en Duitsland, honderdduizenden luisteraars betoverd.

How is called Steve's instrument here?

Steve plays two instruments in this video. The first one (0:00 to 0:55) is some variant of a harmonic/overtone flute. It is likely a close relative (or modernized version) of a koncovka or langfløyte. The second (1:49 onward) is a double-flute, which he plays with a lot of overblow technique, which is EXTREMELY hard to master to the level he exhibits in this video. That's talent, ladies and gents.

uglybuckling I think the first instrument could be a Bawu, which is not a flute but a reed instrument, like the hulusi, the sound is very different.
