I’m a firefighter in Montana and the assholes don’t move over for us either. I think tow and fire should be able to have red and blue rear facing warning lights. I think the blue and red are really the only lights that people even remotely pay attention to.
They hit troopers with lights on here in Colorado. Several,,,, It's unreal. Tow trucks are considered 1 responders here too there a law but those don't work apparently.

I was wondering how you were going to load that thing. Everyone I’ve seen towing those use a lift back trailer or a hook lift type flatbed that you can put all the way on the ground. That blocking action worked pretty good though. Wouldn’t like to see the tire and wheel bill for that bad unit though. Thanks for sharing!

I agree with Rick drivers in the freeway have no regaurd for road worker and towing personnel. In Oregon we would try to provide pre warning and traffic control for a tow in the A lane like that.

Yea they have a roll back for cars like that. I think it's Jerr Dan. The lip is curved so it will clear to pull the car up on the bed.

You need exotic car ramps for flat beds I use to hate hauling exotic cars but now with the ramps makes life a lot easier

In Alberta Canada tow trucks got blue lights this at the first of this year
Rick that car has lift on it and they will get high enough to clear the beds and to put them in neutral you hold both paddle shifters forward

You can use two pieces of wood that are 4 x 4 x 36 with a skate turned upside down at each end to get some good clearance. That’s what I do. I use them to make ramps. Good job getting it done.

@@steventrojanowski3595 you put a long 4X4 under the edge of the bed then take a skate and flip it over so it creates a small ramp. The car can drive up the skate onto the 4X4 and onto the bed.

There's a company in Greenwich, CT that use flatbeds that roll down flat on the ground for their EXOTIC vehicle pick ups & deliveries.
Maybe they should put pick points in them so you could left them with a big recker.

I'm surprised you don't have boards on the trucks standard issue 2x6 or 2x8. I did one Corvette that had caster wheels on the radiator support I had to set up boards for over ten feet to get up the deck.
They are supposed to, I haven’t had a driver yet that can keep blocks on his truck
True story they already lost all the blocks. I put on that truck that day to unload it.

I’ve only been more satisfied once, but she said I need time apart, so Chastain knocking some smarter seeds into Noah and my exotic recovery almost didn’t go western, then at the end it went full western, totally satisfied now!! LMAO 😂 preciate it fellas

I always hated towing exotics. Their such a pain in the ass and time consuming. Could build a shed with all the lumber i had to drag out with me.

Gee guys I used to operate a rollback for a detail shop that only took in exotic cars and I used 4x4's. I had 2 of them 4ft long each that I drove the car up on them butted them up against the flatbed deck and had extra room for clearance. Basically I put the 4x4's down once I had the bed rolled back and down the drive the car up on the 4x4's and once I dropped off the 4x4's the tires were on the bed. Then I tilted up and pulled it up to almost the back tires then lowered the bed back down to allow for the rear wheels to come up on the bed. Just saying.
I use 2 4X4’s with skates upside down at the end of them and use them like ramps.
