I saw Kiss alive in 1975 at Kalamazoo wings Stadium while in college. Gave all my Kiss records to my little brother a couple years after that and never looked back LOL
good to see the got their act together again, they sound great, stanley's vocals are back. detroit rock city their opening song when i saw them way back in the 1970's.

Seen KISS in 74@RUPP ARENA Lexington Kentucky, Arena had just opened, new building. 30k in attendance, we rocked that place, great music, and show. Good times, good memories of that night.
All the people talking shite about kiss, saying they aren't any good from behind their phone or computer screens. How many millions of people around the world have you rocked? How many hits have you had? It might be better with original band members, it might be better if they were younger but it doesn't really matter. It's their band and they are doing it the way they want to and living their dream.
I see alot of love in the comments, & alot of haters as well. Here's my 2 cents,...... I personally think KISS should have stopped touring years ago. They haven't put out a good album in a long time. But having said that,..... KISS was never a really good band ( musically ) to begin with. But they were awesome to see. Visually, in the 70's when they hit, there was nothing like it. There was Alice, & a few other "shock rock" acts, but KISS took it to another level. For that, I admire them. Ya know,....they only sold ONE of those KISS caskets, and my boy Dimebag was buried in it. And folks, to me,.... that speaks volumes. Farewell, KISS,..... it's been fuckin fun.🎼

I was at the Olympia show as well January 20th 1978 I was in the mezzanine section. Can't remember who opened up can you? Olympia was great for Red Wings games but Cobo was better for concerts😁

Yeah that’s not Ace Frehley or Peter Criss if anyone didn’t know that by now, cheap gimmicks to attempt to impersonate originality for anything or a few paper notes more... the thing is that to get to the sound they found before it took the individual efforts of all four of the original personas to make it that way in the first place. Without those individual efforts & original inputs it don’t happen to blend the way it did or to a semi enriching & likable level. Then it doesn’t get better from that level, just falls back to keep starting over, but knowing better. As a kid I ranked them creatively as Criss, Frehley, Stanley & Simmons in that order, with Stanley being a close 2nd to Frehley and having a very likable organically engaging voice. For me that settled the matter that drove them to do their own individual solo records. The live living vibe created together is more valuable than paper notes & most other things, that’s what is paid for to see, hear & feel!!! Time to hit rock-n-roll all night again & do an original tour while you still can, to say thank you & share the wealth?

John Eldøy Right on. Overdubbed is an understatement after I saw the Eddie Kramer interview about the Alive album on YT. If you haven't seen it, you might enjoy it. He said the ONLY thing that wasn't overdubbed was Peter Criss. Now that's some interesting old history to me. ROCK ON!
I'm Pretty sure there are tracks for gene's bass, Paul's rhytm guitar, and obviously his vocals. Even tho in those recent videos I'm stsrting to think that at least a couple of lyrics are sung live just to give the illusion

People are reminiscent of good old days. ALIVE was super ... but almost everything is overdubbed in studio. as all Live albums at that time were.
So sad to see them this way..... they should have retired long ago.....
John Eldøy Right on. Overdubbed is an understatement after I saw the Eddie Kramer interview about the Alive album on YT. If you haven't seen it, you might enjoy it. He said the ONLY thing that wasn't overdubbed was Peter Criss. Now that's some interesting old history to me. ROCK ON!

I'm Pretty sure there are tracks for gene's bass, Paul's rhytm guitar, and obviously his vocals. Even tho in those recent videos I'm stsrting to think that at least a couple of lyrics are sung live just to give the illusion
