I was lucky enough to see Eric live on the Asylum tour... I am 50 years old and a life long Kiss fan. I'm also a drummer of 40 plus years. Eric was and is, one of my all-time favorites. Looking back on it now, I'm so glad I was lucky enough to see him at least once. When his solo came up,he did this absolutely amazing solo and he incorporated the new electronic drums, which, when struck, gave off sampled guitar chords. He made it sound like he was playing a song, not a solo, where he played all the instruments himself!!! It was innovative, creative, and incredible all at the same time. I'll cherish that memory and remember it for the rest of my days. God bless you Eric Carr... for touching my life and so many others.

Joe Gazvazul I was at that tour and had the privilege of meeting him in person, the guy was so humble, a genuinely nice bloke, and while people debate about the best drummer in the world, he was a legend to me
He was so diverse in his music, and he was perfect for KISS. He's been my biggest inspiration through my drumming journey and my musical journey all together. He was an amazing drummer and singer, just a really good and kind soul. My Grandpa saw Carr in concert and he said it was the greatest KISS concert he'd ever seen because of the big drum sound. I know I'll get to see him for the very first time up above one day, but that is very far away. But until then, I'll keep listening to him and admiring him for all of his lovely work and his pure heart. Long live Eric Carr!
May his soul rest in peace. Eric "The Fox" Carr was an inspiration to everyone. If he were still alive today, he would've made me and lots of others Happy. The best drummer in the world? Are you out of your mind? He wasn't even the best drummer in Kiss. And that's not a very high bar. All he plays is 16ths and triplets. Beginner level drumming.

Saw him on LIU tour, this one CN and Revenge tour. Did they do HITS tour in uk. I thought they merged 2 together HITS and Revenge as i remember seeing the sphinx in the back fround halfway through the show.
@Butch Sprout LIU first time and saw them 3 times in 5 days last year in Uk. Have booked for Stockholm next year will be 12th time (and sadly last). As much as i love Eric Carr the Revenge tour was possibly best time seeing them.
The Animalize Live video was my introduction to KISS. Immediately I was blown away by Eric Carr. I learned everything I could about KISS and Eric & his playing as a kid. I learned this drum solo on air drums so well that by the time I got behind an actual drum kit I knew it backwards and forwards. Eric Carr and by extension KISS changed the trajectory of my whole life with that performance and I’ll never forget it. Thanks a lot KISS, and may the spirit & memory of Eric Carr live on and be blessed forever.
Eric Carr is an amazing drummer, he died way too soon in this world. He is still deeply miss today by those who love him and by those who hear and learn of him and his music today. He was a men full of energy and passion that rocked the world of Rock n' Roll on the drums with amazing vocals as well. He died a few years before I was even born and I wish that I got to see him perform live in concert; last year at AnimeFest 2019 I cosplayed as him and it was fun. Eric's drum solo was so inspired and great show. His Crazy Night' ones is one of most original and harmonics ever with the electronic pads climax. I saw it in 1987 in Paris. And i had the chance to see the 1983 tank' one in Paris for Lick it up tour. My first KISS show at 12!
I'm 18 and he passed away almost 12 years before I was born, but even so, I miss him. Sometimes I cry over him cause he was so young... Only 41 years :( Rest in peace, legend ♥️ I know you're still playing in heaven for the angels now 💖

What a unique, and kick ass drummer he was. He was the best KISS drummer, many will say peter, but What makes eric different is that he can bang on those drums, louder peter can ever play. While peter may be the original, eric will always be the drummer god of kiss. RIP
I saw this tour in Syracuse. Hearing Eric do vocals on Young and Wasted was one of the highlights. Also, as the concert started, after seeing Mark St. John backstage during Queensryche opening, out steps not him but some other guy. It was Bruce Kulick, another stand up Great guy. Eric and Bruce were solid performers.
