Walmart bakery is the most hit or miss thing ever. Its either amazing or terrible. No in between. I'm sorry Pippa's only ended up with the bad parts of the selection.
Walmart's herb crusted Italian loafs are great.

Listen, you will get the "are you good" stare when you go to the Asian market lol.
To be honest, people at local Asian supermarkets are usually just surprised you are there. Most markets only have ingredients that most Americans don't even know what to do with. If you are a big cook like me though, it is the best for getting quality Asian ingredients. Nowhere else can I get my Maesri Thai curry paste, matcha powder, sweet chili sauce, rice noodles, and 50 lb bags of Sweet Rice. All American grocery stores that I've been to might have a small pack of S&B curry blocks if you are lucky alongside the lowest quality high fructose corn syrup-infused Teriyaki-type sauces. Also, they only have your basic long-grain rice that is terrible compared to sweet rice (seriously, try it if you can).
Yep, i learned the hard way to never buy anything from Lee Kum Kee! Chili crisp is my addiction thanks to those stores haha

2:00 asian food markets are 100% the best. i use thai basil and chili paste to make stir fry all the time and it is a truly religious experience. that stuff just doesnt exist in any other grocery store

I used to work walmart bakery. It hurts to hear her say it but its true, its gotten awful in the past 15 years. Used to be pretty alright.
Me and the boys back when I was in collage walking into the Asian Grocery Market. "HELL YA! Going to get us some good food today!" Legit sold pig head once in a while. If it's not your thing, it's not your thing, but there is PLENTY there to find and enjoy, even got me back into eating ramen, had burned out when I bought the normal stuff and had it for most of my meals in one week. Was always worth the 4 big city block walk, even if my hands were numb from the cold by the time I got back to the apartment.

That being said, Asians don't care. We actually like that others find an appreciation for Asian culture and goods.
There's an amount of pride when people not of your nationality like your food and products, no matter your origin.
I was the one who sent that stream elements chat about the Asian store thing. I'm 75% Korean 25% Japanese so I know how these kinds of stores are and I can actually understand that thing about white folks going to these stores and feeling out of place. Don't worry though, if they're looking at you in the store, it's because they want you to buy something. they don't care who you are.
Unless it's in LA and well... you know how things go over there.

As someone who used to work Frozen/Dairy I see this as an absolute win
Food Lion is S tier if your on a budget and need meat. Just go after like 7pm and look for managers special stickers. $3 flat iron steaks, $4 pound of 93% ground beef, $3 for 3 thick cut pork chops. Shit's amazing.
Bruh, that meat is usually gray, green, or brown. I only buy the reduced cooked/packaged foods.

Well now I gotta wonder where Pippa's from. I never noticed it before, but someone in the comments mentioned her having a bit of a drawl in the beginning of the video, and her mention of both RC Cola and Food Lion heavily implies she's somewhere in the South, specifically on the coast.

She's almost certainly from NC based on some stuff she's mentioned herself on stream. Food Lion is in the Southern states along the east coast and Pipi said she's from the South.

I've finally gotten to learn more about Walmart and how it's actually both similar and different from chain supermarkets in my country through this clip than any other mention of Walmart in any other American media I've seen that mentions it. Other folks just make it sound like it's either the best place on Earth with everything you could ever want or the worst place on Earth with nothing but cheap shit and people fighting each other. Least Pippa sheds some light on what's actually in there. Apparently they have good soup. That's the most important thing

The Cinnamon Toasters are identical to Cinnamon Toast Crunch for a fraction of the price and the French Toasters are literally the greatest cereal on planet earth, they far exceed the name brand French Toast Crunch.

This is why we get our soda from Costco. We buy the big 35 pack, its good bang for your buck, and it lasts forever. Only thing you lose out on maybe is different flavors of name brand sodas, but I buy imitation vanilla and those cherry Koolaid mio squirt bottles, so i'm all set.
Like, if I want a fucking Pitch Black Mountain Dew or whatever, i'll go to On Cue.
