I need help, when I click the power button my phone will turn off for a second then it will go to the lock screen and won't shut off at all
That sounds like you might have screen saver selected. If you go to the second thing in this video and select none it should go away, if not then it's a different issue and the best thing to do would be to go to a store so they can look at it

none of it didn't work my screen still won't turn off and it only turn off when it's charging
Edit: try cleaning it to that one part where you guys plug your charger I'm not sure if it'll work tho

so i tried all of these and it doesn't work for me, its more like my phone is on constantly. When its unlocked and i hit the power button, it goes straight to the lock screen, and doesn't turn off, but when its charging it does

Developer options fixed it for me. I have no idea why it was selected on. I didn't even have developer options available before this video. Thank you!

Cleaning the charging port with a toothpick worked for me
My phone turns on whenever i plug it in, but its buggin out right now and thinks its getting pluged and unpluged. So it will only ever turn off when its plugged in.

Samsung phones are such a headache. I have been using a Samsung A11 for over a year and it has been nothing but problem after problem. These phones are the absolute worst, terrible garbage stupid phones ever. I am having other problems with this phone along with this screen time-out issue. I want to smash this trash and throw it in the garbage
