Baby with ADHD. Just love yourself. Don't apologize when you are trying. Explain your effort. If they can't vibe, consider how healthy they are for YOU
That's a hard concept for me to understand, that your friends get mad at ADHD. It's extremely common and he is trying, so idk why they wld act that way (not disagreeing w him just saying anyone who'd treat him that way is in the wrong). I have ADHD and Dyslexia and I've had ppl act like I'm mentally disabled. Honestly I choose to see it as things that helps me. I hyperfixate a lot so I channel it into work or chores and it makes them feel less hard. My main issue is I can't stop working or cleaning easily. My husband has ADHD too; he and I keep each other in check. So maybe having a really solid person you trust to ground you helps, also making friends with ADHD helps cause than they understand. ADHD can also make you hyper fixate on ppl as well, their behavior, face movements etc. and its easy to spiral and think that certain things ppl do mean something. I've done it. Communication is your best tool.
I'm v direct so I prefer to ask or be told how they feel honestly. I hope he realizes ADHD shldnt be a deal breaker for being a friend and if they say it is, they weren't good friends anyways.

Bob is so right with the customer service crap lol I worked at Walmart for a while in my 20s lol..I'm a light skinned biracial and for years I've had some ridiculous comments..had an old white lady say I'd be so pretty if I lost a few lbs lol..my face was perfect, it was the body that needed assistance🤣...and I had an old black lady say id be so pretty if I didnt have my tattoos lol..I found it wild there are some customers who actually test employees in customer service..its ridiculous..they test you and if you break they try to get you terminated. To the guy who doesn’t like his boyfriends friend, if she’s dealing with mental issues, (depression not only makes you sad, it can make you aggravated and get mad at the slightest things) you really can’t take anything to heart and tell them “you’re really upset, I’m going to disengage until you calm down” If someone’s in that mode just let it go in one ear and out the other, if it’s physical stay away, but if it’s just verbal or a little nasty attitude for no reason, definitely address it and disengage. This will help them learn and understand how to deal with emotions and that they can’t lash out because they’re gonna lose people.

@ the dude with adhd also remember that rsd is sadly a symptom of adhd, I also have adhd, and because of rsd I tend to think people are way more annoyed than they actually are. Try to explain to ur friends how adhd affects you and have a convo with them about how you feel :)

I'm going to answer on behalf of the person who said sending advice is cringe...In a way I agree. I just find Sibling Advicery is not as fun as Rivalry. It feels more serious and not as fun and random. I think we find it cringe because we don't want to hear other peoples problems. Before everyone comes after me, yes I'm white and yes I can watch something yes. I love these two so much that I watch them to make me laugh as an escape.
