the part about Gottmik's donatella I disagreed with. Gottmik styled it differently from the runway. Most garments the girls serve are either borrowed, designed by someone else or straight up something they bought off the rack then styled themselves. Interesting thing to get hung up over, especially for two all-winner contestants who have definitely worn more excess than that. Feels like she looked at it and thought "I'm not even gonna bother to form an opinion over this, because she said it's off the runway" (unintentionally though because clearly Trinity does care since this was an amazing episode with strong opinions throughout)

Slay is honestly a good, fun movie. As far as I’m concerned Trinity IS the star of the film.

Also I definitely agree with what Trinity said about the scoring specificty in tbe pageant system. It would otherwise always be decided according to the personal anesthetic and style preferences of the judges if it's not a set of guidelines based on the quality of presentation.

I don't think trinity and monet understood why there was a pink paper thing on Nina's pink look. Her look was a bout being gay, extra, and flamboyant on the down low. Pink as a color for gayness and pride, but the paper hiding her face respresents the anonymity and the way closeted people are being their extra selves in their safe spaces. She actually said this on her voice over during the runway. It was not trying to be funny, it told a story.
