Everyone keeps saying "once you look up orchid mantis you'll get it!" but girl, the only think Q's look has in common with orchid mantises is pink. It's a different look but it's mid. In defense of Miss Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige, she said that SEVEN of her outfits never arrived the night before she left for Drag Race. Her designer just ghosted her. So she took what she could and made the best of it. And honestly, I kinda wish they would announce that on the show, instead of letting viewers think that an underwhelming look on the runway is the very best that queen could come up with. It's happened to SO many of the girls over the years, and yet we only hear about it way after the fact. Even just mentioning it in Untucked, literally anything except avoiding it completely.

I saw Latrice in Dallas a year ago and she brought Kennedy out as a special guest and she sang a ballad as a tribute to a friend of hers who'd passed away and it was mindblowing. Her voice and range is amazing.

finally someone who agreed about Q and xunami's looks. i don't know why they were getting so hyped up, xunami's look was messy and Q's look was just a little awkward somehow? i think it was her physicality and also her performance of it on the runway in general, her face was doing something weird too. like it was almost there but it just totally fell flat before the finish line. i loved dawn's look though.

Nah, her acting was spectacular but you could tell who the theater professional was when they weren’t center stage: Who was confident in their steps, eyeline up, expression held, totally on even when off to the side.
