To my ear, his greatest performance of this song was when he did it in the late 70's...complete with youthful attitude. But he still brings it today.....fab.

Always good to see Rufus, bot on a quintessentially Billy Joel song? What was BJ thinking? I'm Rufus' biggest fan, but this was the icing on the icing. NYSoM has always been the very soul of a BJ song, so why would he want anyone else singing along? It just doesn't work for me. It;s a song of solitude, how could it become a duet?

Awsome song - as ever - and renewed Joel´s voice, I think. Rivera, really excellent.
But sorry to say that Rufus' nasal and flat voice does not fit at all with this "heartrending", powerfull song.
