Assessment does not come from knowledge of English. From the performance, artistry, emotionality, voice of the singer. I feel the song with my soul, not English

I mean it’s obvious that the 2019 songs would be more likely to be in here because it’s just views from 2019 and that’s when they came out. Same with other recent entries. Militia for example won but it was quite some time ago now so people are less likely to rewatch the video in 2019

Four of these songs had Swedish writers/co-writers "A Million Voices", "Bigger Than Us", "Love is Forever" and "Storm".
A "Million Voices", "Bigger Than Us", and "Storm" also had some Swedes singing it, as lead or background singers.

@@martajestem7912 Yeah, but Lundvik didn´t write it alone. He wrote it together with Swedes Anna-Klara Folin, Jonas Thander and Canadian-British Laurell Barker. Among the backing singers were Swedes Sahlene (who has competed for Estonia in 2002, and has done backing vocals for Sweden in 1999, when Sweden won, but also for Malta 2000 and Australia 2016), Melanie Wehbe (who also wrote Denmark´s "Love Is Forever") and Linda Pritchard (who competed in Melodifestivalen 2010 and 2011).
Victor Crone, who competed for Estonia with "Storm", and also co-wrote the song, is also a Swede. He will compete in Melodifestivalen 2020. "A Million Voices" was co-written by Swedes Gabriel Alares, who was also one of the backing vocalists, he is seen in the background of the thumbnail to this video and Joakim Björnberg among others. It´s usually a team of writers from different countries. There are usually about 10 or more entries in Eurovision that has Swedish songwriters in their teams. And there is usually also a lot of Swedish backing vocalists. And choreographers.

I have been following Eurovision fondly since I was a child. I was very excited when I heard that it was going to be held in our country in 2004 for the first time and unfortunately for the last time. We went to Istanbul as a family. I still remember Athena and Ruslana's performance as yesterday. Loves from Turkey. ❤️🌹🇹🇷
