  • These days we’re bombarded by a slew of #Goals on social media, be it fitness, relationship or professional achievements. And while we know deep down not everything we see online is real, most of us still can’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy or the need to compare ourselves when looking at others’ social media lives.

In this episode, we tackle that topic by sharing insights from you, our audience, and what you had to say in our latest poll. We’ll also dive into the larger social media discussion being had and discuss various thinkpieces around the Internet. And finally, we have a candid conversation with reality star Yandy Smith on how she balances her social media persona with real life.

Social media has killed the vibe in so many relationships. People pay too much attention to other peoples bs

As a man I watched because I like hear from a woman's perspective what's going on in their minds. I'm not here to disagree or challenge their views because that's how they see it. I will however mention whenever I watch these videos I can't help but notice a good number of the comments made by presumably women focus just as much on how these ladies look as they do on the content of the discussion. I think its very interesting to say the least being that men are often times accused on not being able to see pass that and taking a woman seriously

Social media has ruined human interaction. Cell phones make better friends than real companionship. Isn't the devil happy.

Loved this! Could relate so much to what Keyaira said about sharing more of her flaws. I wished it was saved in her highlights cause I would've loved to see it...

I personally think its good to take a break from social media sometimes. It can be very negative at times.

It's not just social media that's warping our reality but all of the interent; from porn to the "news" and "health/medical" sites. It's all changed people's perceptions and expectations of reality.

I know one thing I’m tired of hearing the word “lit”! That word is sooo old because I’m older and I remember when we use to use it.sigh(loudly) What happened to the other ladies!? The young lady with the twist and navy outfit would’ve been a great fit with the original ladies.

On the music side, people love money more than morals. On the consumer side, we are so poisoned and brainwashed most of us don't know if their coming or going. But I was never much of a Kelly fan. So not listening to his music was not a big deal.

How about less social media and deal more with reality? make a difference in your life and your community...quit focusing on who's wearing what or who said what or whatever,it's trivial and serves no purpose

  • @JOBLESSGENTLEMANSJOURNEY

Why do black women focus on weaves and wigs and makeup..and not give that same energy to working out and staying fit..and have more positive attitudes..the women here are nice looking but easily 30pound over weight..I'm sure the fat shaming people wont agree with me..but that's why us men are choosing other races of women..because they on that squat rack and know how to keep the twinkies out of there mouths.
