Building an elevator to lift heavier items up to the atticin the shop. we have to make stabilizers yet with turnbuckle adjusters, but it's getting close!
The 2x10 pine beams are 16 inches on center, 3 are joined with the steel frame that supports the vertical load. The load range that we expect will be no more than 300 lbs.
It is the truss/roof framing support member that could be a concern. Is the design load capacity greater than 100 lbs?
