@LazyMelly / ConfirmCLM sadly he's not joking, in the game files there are 4 different charts, each with a different ending jump, and the game randomly chooses one of them each time you play the song. So yes, the last jump is always random.
Beginning jump of the song is simulating how you underestimate the speed of an oncoming tsunami. It literally catches you by surprise, and soon you're in a chaotic and hectic environment which the song starts in. The constant jumps simulate the earthquake and aftershocks. The crossovers are to show that surviving this song, just like a tsunami, is not something that everyone can do. The section at 0:36 is extremely cluttered and the freeze arrows make it hard for your brain to understand where you're at. No difference from being in a fleeing mob of people trying to head towards safety. The break at 0:48 is when you think the earthquakes have stopped, but it then leads into more jumps which means more aftershocks. "Our thoughts and prayers" is pretty obvious, but I'd like to say that maybe it can also mean that they're meaningless because they're not going to hit those notes for you. The ending shows that you cannot prepare for any disaster. It comes at you fast, and it's always randomized. No two events are the same.
“Random jump”? Heh. The Wii DDR games gives you random stepcharts within ALL of the “Evolved” series of songs. (Especially TokyoEVOLVED since there's no training mode in Hottest Party 1)
Dead end is easy to pass (as far as 18s go), really hard to combo/score on, the jumps in the second half are dumb but when you're just passing you can afford to miss them.
I think it would be a hard 12. The bursts never quite get long enough to be streams. Make no mistake that they're hard, but ITG 13s are bonkers. For comparison, Bloodrush is a bit slower at 158BPM, but it has harder crossovers, comparable freeze patterns, longer bursts, full streams, and a slowdown that is comparable in difficulty to Tohoku's speedups. And Bloodrush is a 12.

I like how on DDR, the last note is always different everytime you play this song.
LazyMelly / ConfirmCLM to be more precise, the last step is one of four random corner jumps.

Yup. You have to be careful on that last step since the BPM will boost to 1020
Just quad it lol
@@VonTachyon what's the fun in that :(
Thinking that this song is a reference to 2011 Tohoku tsunami, it really brings the speed of the waves in it.
Blue Falcon I think it was only unplayable with WAVE until it was unlocked for normal play.
Thats it
The Japanese have a twisted sense of humor
The last jump being randomized is supposed to be symbolic about how unpredictable a tsunami is
(But people just bracket it)

Yes, the lyrics include that.

It's okay. Could use more crossovers though

London Evolved Version A was used here
Rodeth Icong This is a remix of that song.
0:35 for reference
This is so hard
That’s… the entire point of an 18, but you are correct.

I only know the difference between tokyoEVOLVED versions because of BeatX.
Maybe the hardest 18? There is IX, triple journey max period, Dead end (which does not really count since it is absolute garbage).
Nah. It's hard but i wouldn't say it's as hard as IX

Tried it tonight as it's one of the last 18s that I need to beat. It didn't go well. This song is so damn hard
Would this be a 12 or 13 in ITG?

@@LilMafs any DDR 18's that are considered ITG 13's?

The song has 690 notes the note number has 69 in it LOL
Dude, this song was sort of like a tribute to the people that experienced the Tohoku earthquake
