Issue with the werewolf vs Vampire question is there are so many variables and variants for vampires and werewolves the choice becomes very difficult.
For example, there are werewolves that have super regeneration that allows them to live forever unless killed by the normal ways you would kill a werewolf. I.E. they aren't dying from sickness or old age, which is a huge plus. And there are werewolves that can control themselves when changed.
Then you have certain vampires that have all those nasty weaknesses of garlic, mirrors, sunlight, salt (In some lore), etc. Then you have vampires that don't have any of those weaknesses.
So many different versions of vampires and werewolves with different limitations and heights of their abilities.. hard pick, but if you took the best aspects of each, while maintaining the barest limitations of their weaknesses.. I'd prolly go werewolf
If you're talking about Underworld style werewolves, then I don't know why you'd pick vampire.

I'll go with werewolf still. It's pretty easy to track the full moon cycle with apps and stuff and as long as you don't look at the moon you'll be good. Plus I won't be able to enjoy pasta or garlic bread as a vampire. And the only downside of being a werewolf really is just silver but you can just play it off as if you're allergic to it.
You don't have to look at the moon to transform, there's no mythological transcripts dating back to the variations of lycanthropy that suggest you need to look at it, in many cases tho there are chill werewolves that serve as guardians to people, and then theirs the horrific ones that involuntarily transform you into a monstrosity of carnage, chaos and pain, these ones, the process of the turn is agonising, your bones stretch and crack, your skin peels back, your teeth and nails fall out, it ain't pretty. But same Werewolf is a better of the two, just find the chill ones in Europe and you'll be G
Plus why control is so absurd? It should be possible.

To be fair if you become a vampire you'll still have your intelligence and personality. However you would need to avoid sunlight, crosses, and drink blood to maintain your existence. But you would have some cool powers to play with.
It depends on the type of vampirism or lycanthropy. In the Underworld series vampires and werewolves aren't supernatural, but mutants. They're both immortal and have regeneration. One is vulnerable to sunlight while the other is vulnerable to silver. They're similar to Spider-man.
@sacredbeastzenon same goes for the werewolves in some comics and moves they can control their transformation and doing even during the day. Kinda like how the Hulk gets angry.

#1 is interesting… no matter what Tom or Don say it’s still not difficult nor easy to determine the ethicalness of the situation because the amnesia is a massive complicator

The interesting thing to me about amnesia in general is that it seems to be inconsistent. Some people don’t know who they are, where they are/live or other specifics about themselves, while others retain some details that no longer have context and are therefore confusing
But they all seem to be able to speak and use most all of their vocabulary… I mean, if longterm memories are lost, then how do they still remember large chunks of the words in their vocabulary? If learned facts are not managed the same way in the brain as experiences, but experiences are what broaden our knowledge of things, then how is speech handled so differently that it’s typically retained
Granted I can’t remember where and when I learned every word I use, but they are still accessible to me, meanwhile plenty of experiences that I’d think I’d remember happening are seemingly nowhere to be found… it really is baffling… and then the oddity of being able to access an endless array of words like it’s nothing, even one’s that you use extremely rarely, but then there are times when you are trying to remember one specific word that you use even somewhat regularly and it eludes you for minutes/hours/days+… or is it just me?
Speech is in a different area of the brain from memories and stuff and the damage that caused the retrograde amnesia could have completely missed the speech area.

The velocity difference wouldn't be that much. Anyways, assuming Sonic has hidden (or not hidden, i don't know anything about hedgehogs) powers that makes him resistant to these "monkey paw effects" than he should be able to blow through a load of cum regardless of the velocity difference, if not, then Egg man just needs to put sprinklers everywhere so sonic is constantly pelted by drops of water at a 700+ mph difference in velocity (if he wants to "go fast" at least).

In the vampire or werewolf debate, I would totally be a werewolf because of the far more benefits and lack of weaknesses than a vampire. As a vampire, you can’t go in sunlight, you’re scared of Christianity, you can’t cross running water, you can only sustain yourself on blood- shit, you might as well live in a cave. Unless you’re super wealthy and can afford the vampire lifestyle, it’s a terrible deal.
On the other side, as a werewolf all you need to really worry about is silver. That being said, silver is an expensive material that you won’t just find laying around the household. You get a giant monster cock, can pretend you’re not a functioning person of society for a night, and only really have to deal with it once a month or so.
I think the saving grace of vampirism is that it gives you eternal life and something akin to eternal youth as well. As long as you keep drinking human blood
It depends of the type of vampirism or lycanthropy. Some vampires don't flash fry in sunlight or some werewolves are immortal.
Werewolves can only change during a full moon and they usually have no consciousness of their transformation. Vampires are way better and they have full control of their minds the entire time.

In the Underworld franchise werewolves are in complete control of their transformation. Only newly turned werewolves are subjected to transform during a full moon. Skyrim is another setting where vampires and werewolves play by different rules.

True, but eternal life kinda sucks when you have to watch your family and friends die of old age. You’d also have to go through the process of changing your identity every lifetime and keep your hunger in check.
