    So, no joke A2 Hosting $3 plan loads faster than most $50 plans I've tested... And it's not even using their newest tech like the Turbo MAX or Managed WordPress Hosting plans. So, I highly recommend you check them out if you prefer old-school controls like cPanel.

    Perhaps this speed was due to server location of the hosts? A2 is just closer to you. Or is VPS hosting superior in speed in general compared to shared hosting, even the most expensive plan in hostinger?

      @Emit.Reviews  Před 8 měsíci

      I account for the location and always test from closest locations (premium GTmetrix has a lot to choose from).
      The thingbis that technology is pretty far ahead to the point where you can get some REALLY good performance for cheap.
      Problem is scaling. The cheaper something is, the more people want it. Then you need more support agents to answer questions and those cost money, then you need smarter ways of allocating resources, so thats more developers. And that costs money. And you need features that the new customers are asking for. In the end all of this gets calculated into the "end cost".
      But with a VPS what the hosting provider is doing is basically giving you the hardware and saying "use it if you want. But dont expect anything from us".
      We wont help you manage, install, fix or add features. This is your private thing, good luck with it.
      They dont need to scale it. And it doesnt have bloat thats required for shared hosting to account for edge case scenarios, because its only your site running. Thats why its cheap and fast

    What's better to get oracle cloud free hosting or the cheapest A2 hosting plan?

    • @Emit.Reviews
      @Emit.Reviews  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Id go for the 2.99 A2 VPS just because Oracle is unpredictable. They've recently deleted my account after 1year of usage.

    With these hosts, can't you just make a new account under a new name to lock in a new 3-4 discounted plan, and then transfer all your websites from your old account to the new one before the subscription renews at a higher price?

    • @Emit.Reviews
      @Emit.Reviews  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Yes you can. Most people just find it tedious to do transfers

      @@Emit.Reviews Thanks for the reply. BTW your vids are amazing. I've referred back to your vid on how to set up a site on hostinger site dozens of times to make sure I set up every client of mine correctly.

    Hi There! I'd really like to see a smart Review Of A2 RESELLER PLANS from you. The reseller feature looks like a cool way to get huge inode capacity and more bang for the buck - even if you're not planning to be a web host biz- so it's potentially a big thing. WHAT'S YOUR VIEW ON THIS A2 OPTION? BTW- Love your work!

    A2 is fast but very unstable in my experience, there have been times where the cPanel do not even load, takes ages to so it is unsuable hosting.

    • @Emit.Reviews
      @Emit.Reviews  Před 9 měsíci

      Ive never had issues with their cPanel. But honestly 99% of the time I just set everything up on purchases and never go back to cPanel again. Unless there's some sort of an emergency.

      On clean normal wordpress theme perfomance was not good at all, plus what you said in some of your reviews before, customer service is pretty poor.@@Emit.Reviews

      When I'm trying to nail down if it's the theme or the hosting/server that's causing trouble, I usually start simple. I'll pop in a basic theme like Astra or Blocksy and throw in some demo content. These themes are pretty solid and do a good job of putting the server to the test. If everything runs smoothly with them but gets choppy with other themes, it could be a heavy plugin at play or maybe some chunky, uncompressed images in the other themes' demo content.
      Additionally, I check my PHP version (aiming for version 8.0 or higher), my CDN setup, and caching solutions like LiteSpeed cache or Nitro Pack.
      Obivously there's a chance that the server might be part of the problem. Like, it could be in the US, which isn't ideal if you're trying to access it from the EU, or the other way around. It always sucks when things don't work smoothly from the start, but that's the nature of hosting... it's got its fair share of quirks and potential hiccups due to how many different factors are at play.
      Really sorry if my suggestion led to any headaches!
