    CHRISTINA FELDMAN
    Christina Feldman is the co-founder and patron of Gaia House. She has been leading insight meditation retreats worldwide since 1976. She is the co-founder of Bodhi College and a guiding teacher emeritus of the Insight Meditation Society, Massachusetts.
    Her books include Woman awake, The way of meditation, Silence, Compassion and The Buddhist path to simplicity. Her most recent book Mindfulness: Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Psychology is written with Willem Kuyken.

    Thank you, Christina, for your wisdom. "Hard-earned" resonates as the continual challenging work of diligent cultivation, going against the current, ever going deeper. I heard a bit of tough-love in your recitation 'Life is a play of joy and sorrow. . . ' Thank you for offering that you use those lines in cultivating your own hard earned equanimity.
