This is the heaviest & most important video I have made on my channel to date. Out of all the places I’ve ever lived and experienced life, this one means the most to me & was the most influential on my life. I’ve been wanting to share this with you all for the longest time, but I have to admit, on the other side of this project, the most important thing to me was relieving these memories for myself & my family. I genuinely hope you all enjoy the video of course, but at the end of the day, this one is for the little girl in all of these photos🖤

We love all your videos but this one was so heart warming and touching. You've inspired me to maybe one day a "memory lane video." whenever I go to visit Texas. Last visit I did visit my childhood home and it's just so overgrown. Once my grandmother passed away, the owners, who live in Houston, didn't want to do anything with the house anymore so it just broke my heart seeing it like that.
I also love these videos cause we get to know a little more about you. That's so cool that you have dual citizenship! Thanks for bringing us along with such special memories. And so happy that Tampa Jay was able to join along too!

My daughter in law is a single mom raising our 4 year old grandson...in Tennessee...and she is so amazing...she has struggled so much...and just because our son has made baf choices...doesn't mean we love her any less..probably more. Your mama is wonderful. Doing what's best for your child...is such a sacrifice...my daughter in law is amazing. We support her absolutely...she's a wonderful mom trying to do her best. Cris, I want you to know that I have been pulled to pray for you. I suffer and have suffered from anxiety and grew up in Titusville, Florida for 21 years. My name is Heather although it may not be listed here on my CZcams handle lol. I cried with you today and feel we are kindred spirits. I know that may sound weird, coming from someone on social media, but I still believe in that and do not discount it. I found you and Tampa about a year ago around the fall time and you Both have helped me - just your voices in my life, out of what was a darker time in my life and I am thankful. Enjoyed you sharing this. In 1992 I accompanied my son's 6th grade class trip to Medieval Times. I remember the area that had a blacksmith shop, and other areas that recreated a medieval village. I took videos and may have your Dad in it. I put it on a CD but will have to look for it and see if it just had the kids in it. I loved the alarm geese they had there. Do you remember those? Oh, and yes, I do remember Florida's Splendid China. We went there quite often, even took kids on a summer field trip there, also on a video somewhere.
I grew up in a small town in New Hampshire that is no longer a small town thanks to a Walmart and other stores built there. But, I went back there in 2008 and got to tour the inside of the 1860 era 3 story house that I lived in for the best years of my life before we moved to Florida. You are so right about emotions that hit you as an adult when you go to your old homes, schools, etc. I also went by my old school and it had a lot of new additions, but the old part was still the same. There was a large rock we used to play King of the Mountain on and it looks so small now! I hope Tampa Jay gets to bring you to all his childhood places in Indiana where he took videos a couple of years ago. It is so nice to share memories with each other.

Hi cris I very much enjoy watching your videos , I can very much understand how difficult this video must have been for you to film , this is one I have considered doing myself sometime but just don't feel ready for it, were I originally come from it has good memories but also not so good memories, I've been back a couple of times to visit friends but there's just something being back in the place were both of my parents were when they were still here that's difficult, hope I'm making sense which I'm probably not , I've said to my husband before that you and Tampa jay are such a lovely couple and enjoy the tours around the different places in America , you are like our tour guides 😊

I notice a lot of these old historic towns and buildings, it's just like here in my hometown instead of revitalizing them and trying to bring back the great times as a child. I remember like you do Cris, holidays around here used to be something special and amazing. I miss all that 😢😢😢

I lost my Mom 3 years ago to Covid and I could agree more with what you said about your mother. My childhood was the best and it was all because of my wonderful Mom. I miss her so much. She was 62 and loved going to Universal Studios here in CA. Big Hugs Cris XOXO Sandra
You were only about 6 miles from my house when you were at the lakefront! Sorry, but you did butcher the pronunciation of Lake Tohopekaliga!🤣That being said…most people do and that’s why so many just call it Lake Toho! That old wooden dock was 100% at the lakefront! That “new” big metal dock area replaced the old wooden one since we moved down here in 2014. I want to say that the metal dock has been there maybe 4 or 5 years now.

I love feeding the ducks but am told it’s not okay with Florida residents 😢. Ducks have to eat too! (I do it anyway)
Raccoons are active both in the daytime and at night, but mostly at night during the winter, so he is probably fine!

That raccoon probably a mother. Have here and they come around like three times a day at the bird feeder for food to make milk for the babies. Seen the babies following her later when they got bigger. Mostly nocturnal but not always.🦝
