Perfect gain structure 👍🏼
Had listened the art 910 was totaly blown away by this little speaker . But …. Then i had the chance to listen the nx 910 … and i canceled the order i made for a pair of art 910 and bought the nx10 instead .
It’s amazing what these speakers are able to do at thos compact size … just amazing .
That wood makes a nice diff - much flatter and more robust.
Just has tad edge doesn’t it. Am still using plastic still but i know what you mean
Dis you ordered the Nx910 or the Nx10. How is the clarity on the Nx910a compare the art910 since they got same driver beside it is wooden box on the nx910.

great video thanks for uploading. Where do you get those floor trusses those look really cool. thanks in advance.
We sell them at www.djsupplystore.com - those are 4.92’ box truss sections from Global Truss w bases and top plates - we then connect to our JMaz Event Facade and keep it flat instead of folding the sides.
How’s the bass sound on these compared to the QSC k12.2?
Great review I just bought them. Having a problem getting the slip cover.
I don’t believe they have ever come out, they will fit in utility bags from gator and the like similar to a K 12 or K10 bag
i just ordered mine, any thoughts on the speakers? do you use it alone or with subs?

I am trying to find a comparison between the ART 910 and the NX 10A II, the latter of which seems to have been released a couple years ago and then discontinued for the new NX 910A.
Have you heard the NX 10A II?
I am trying to build a tight little micro system for smaller events. I was thinking of a pair of the above-mentioned tops with a pair of the 702 AS II subs.
Same speaker. NX has a wooden box so it’s inherently more “Flat” a bit warmer and also heavier in weight. It’s the better quality speaker overall but there isn’t a HUGE difference in sound. At least not noticeable by most human ears.
thank you for your video. Just wondering if you have a hard time putting it on a speaker pole because it has no side handles? Does those ergonomic handles in the back actually work well? TIA
I lean the pole and have no problem putting my 910a’s on poles. I think the light weight helps
I’m thinking of getting these. I like the size and have heard good things about Rcf. Would a pair of art 910s and a sub work well for a wedding with around 150 people?

Cool but what about the settings of ddj sz .
Master attenuation was at 0 or -3 or less
Good catch we will make sure to mention that if we ever do a sound check with that again
Brother i just ordered mine! question are these good for a small venue or would you consider for a wedding? i know it depends on the space but i had ART312 and they worked pretty good on weddings then i added the RCF705 sub and it was incredible however i decided to go lighter so i sold everything. i was looking at the EV 30m but decided to go with the RCF. If a sub is needed what would you recommend that sounds good and light, i actually have a ALTO TS312s little sub but hits pretty decent. Again thanks for all your input i really appreciate it!
I just bought a pair of these new RCF ART 910a's... I'm selling off my 2 QSC K12.2's. they are too boomy but mainly they sound HARSH! I am looking at the QSC KS112 for a nice compact 12" sub. Otherwise I was gonna buy the RCF 705s lol.
@@ConnahJay i set them up with the EV ELX200-12SP subs they sound great with the RCF's and super light!
Oh yea!
I'm debating between 910A and 912A to go with one 705-AS II sub, with future plans to add a second sub, and I can't seem to decide which one to get. There's no other difference between the two other than the woofer size, as far as the spec sheets goes. Is there a worthy difference to make go for the 12" instead of 10"? I'm not planning to use the tops without sub and I mostly do small events in small venues, ~100 people max. Help me decide which one to get. :) Thanks!
Based on that description, 910 is the move as you won’t sacrifice much sound but will gain portability at a lower price point. You can’t go wrong with a 912 either but if we’re talking 100 people or less in smaller venues they are not necessary.
@@TheDJsGuru thanks, man! I think I have my decision. Just have to wait for the stock now :)
Had the 705 nice sounding but not much head room left once hitting that limiter but been told its fine hitting the limiter in this but i Didn’t want to risk. I only had 1. Think it sounded better with 2 inputs then 1 if that makes sense am sure it did.
How's microphone response with it? I have the 935's the microphone sounds extremely bassy, I have all the settings configured on the controller and mic itself, I don't use an external soundboard though.
15” tops is the problem, not the best choice we always rec 12 or smaller Otherwise you get overt muddiness like you’re talking about. Mix sounds great on the 10
I have the Rcf 932a and Rcf 705ii Sub with DDJ 1000 connect to Alto 802 external. We all know, any DJ controller out there won’t give u what exactly u want to hear when u connect microphone. It best if u can get external audio to get the best out of your speakers
@@Djogentertainment i found allen and heath mixer helps the signal so much cleaner/control from controller into it. Noticed most are awful the controller outputs
So, I had to import two RCF 910's from the USA. They work on 115v and in my country (Argentina) we use 220v. Do you know if there is an easy way to convert these to 220v? I know that the power stage of the speakers is a little tricky so is a sensible issue. If there is no easy way, I'll have to buy transformers.
No we don’t
What would you chose louder art 910A or rcf j8?? That can handle more people!
the j8. art 910 are not enough without sub
I’ve heard the amplifier burns because it works with 115 volts and power surges and conditioners here work on 120 and allow up to 135 or so. Is this true?
No this is not true

Most of these speakers on the market work well with DJ operation. The real thing is how they handle a band. I found that as soon as they're set up to play live they start to show their true colors. Anyone use these in a live band setting?
Elaborate on why you think that is out of curiosity, logically it doesn’t make sense.
Seems to us that if the person running the board is doing their job there shouldn’t be much of a difference what the audio source is.
Digitally compressed files or sound coming from a guitar or drum kit- line in is line in. 🤷♂️
@@TheDJsGuru because I've got the practical experience to show. I've done both.
Doing DJ playback. Perfect. Clean punchy. Pleasing sound. No clipping. No drop outs. No distortion.
Playing in a band (vocals, Guitar, Bass, keyboard, drums). Constantly fighting for volume. Peaking, distortion, limiting.
I've been on QSC, JBL, Mackie, EV, and the situation is always the same. You need legitimate 1500-2500w continuous to really get the headroom you want with a band.
So I'm asking if these can handle the band situation like they handle the DJ situation.
@@indigos290 probably not. I tested the 932a yesterday with a friend playing guitar and singing (at high volumes), it handled the guitar fine but when he started singing too it was hitting the limiter very easily and the speaker limiting would bring the volume down way low and very quickly. I had to turn the mic down of course and it performed better but compared to the rcf hd32a Mk4, this 9 couldnt take much without the limiter kicking in. Funny how the hd32 is rated at 700rms and the 932a is rated at 1100rms. How could that be??
@TheDJsGuru writing this kind of comment shows how inexperienced you are.
I’m using the 912-A for band. I’ve been happy with how it works at a reasonable volume. For more volume add subs to take some of the load. We work in big rooms.
Just got 912’s but this video has me thinking i could have gone with 10’s. Are they much lighter than 12’s ?
The 910a’s are 34 lb. And the 912a’s are 42 lb.
I have the 910 and they are incredible, but rcf suggest to put the boost preset at low volume, if you watch the instruction they say it
👍👍
Hey Richard, how do you like the speakers? i just ordered mine, can you elaborate a little on the settings and are you using it by itself of with subs?

Yes - better in our opinion
how this compares to Behringer Dr110dsp? i own the Behringer Dr110dsp and wanted to check if its worth the upgrade.
Don’t know, never heard it but we are not big fans of Beh speakers at all
@@TheDJsGuru have you heard the Yamaha DXR10mkII? that is one i'm also considering so leaning back and forth between the two.
Love the nx910 II I have a pair and am looking to pair subs with them but I am stuck between the 705 or 702. My gut is telling me to just go for the 705 sub since I play mostly dance music. But the 702s seem like they would be a bit easier to transport and I would be able to get 2 702s in the car where I would only have room for one 705. Any suggestions?
2 702 are better than a single 705. But the 705 will be better in everything. By the way sub 7 series from RCF is pretty weak. I’d start with 905 or 8003 instead. If budget is a problem, wait until it’s no longer one.
@@francescog53550 thanks for the tip the 903 does look pretty sweet, you would expect I’d want an upgrade from the 705 pretty quickly though?
@@brianhowell1578 yes. You’ll risk to have a system limited by the sub not being able to keep up with the tops. That’s why, If you want no bigger than 15 inches, I’d go with even dual 905. You’re always able to turn the volume down. Problem is when you need more sound and you can’t deliver it
@@francescog53550 I appreciate the advice . Thankyou.
Compared to the Rcf art 910 with Rcf nx910 in sound pressure and quality with live band which is the best option in terms of quality and cost benefit!?
NX > ART - same insides but the birch wood box and way it’s made always makes it a better value and product in our opinion.
Yes, the Cabinet made of wood always has the best sound.. But in live sound with a band there is a huge difference or I could invest in an ART 910!?.. In my country the nx910 has not yet arrived and I would like to have a sound as close as possible or equal!
What is the recommendation to use in a church with 200 people?
I intend to use two RCF 910 or 912, plus two 15" Subs
Full band musical program, guitars, bass, drums, keyboard...
I'd definitely go with the 932 for the tops, if you can afford it. If not, the 910 or 912 will do a great job as well...

Both excellent. 12” gives you a lower frequency range and a bit more output due to size of box. Can’t go wrong either way but not a tremendous difference
@@TheDJsGuru thank you so much!! I’m sorry one last question, how about comparing the 912A’s to the Qsc K 12.2 ?? Which speaker of those two will be better? I’m kind of torn because I want to buy either one of those two speakers what is your opinion on those two brands and models?
How many people can NX910(2) + 905-ASII(2) handle outside, moslty weddings?
Honestly with this setup anything up to 100-150 should be perfect, a good 50x30ft area in front with plenty of sound
i have the 912 and for some reason it heats up significantly if i leave it on for about 1 hour, even if i'm not playing anything at all, is it okay? otherwise the speaker sound very good, just that it heats up. thx
Keep it off boost and only on linear
yes it’s normal, I use boost at max volume, although I shouldn’t
How it is compare to the Nx910?
Same insides - nx has wooden box so a bit more output due to less loss of air and a flatte/warmer sound. Downside, they’re heavier…
I have two rcf 915 and they get very hot in the back, is this normal?

Just curious. Do you own the 710?
They don't tell the real rms wattage of this speaker at RCF page. I don't believe this cheap speaker to be 1100 watt rms.
You’re entitled to your opinion- ty for your feedback
I don't believe they are 1100 rms either. I side by side compared the 932a and the hd32a Mk4 (700 rms) and at max volume before limiting (red light) the hd32 beat the 932 in volume slightly. The comparison was live with both speakers hooked up to the same mixer and playing at the same time. I was walking back and forth in front of both speakers while they were playing. And had each speakers individual volume adjusted to right before the red limit light would come on. I was really expecting great things from the 932 but was disappointed over all.
@davidramirez71 there's actually much more to a speaker than the just the volumes it can produce, it can't be judged solely on the basis of the volume it puts out. You'll get many other speakers that get way loud but sounds trash, A loudspeaker with the same signature at every volume is really a sign of a good speakera and are typically much more expensive to make. I suggest you go with cp series, they are cheap, not so good sounding but will get extremely loud. The firphase you get from the rcf makes a big difference, you'll only hear it when you compare it side by side with another speaker, so please don't insult a great speaker just by how much volume it puts out.
I know for a fact that the art 915 Is 400 Watts Continuous RMS. not more. specs lie.
so art 912 and 910 can be the same or less
