- Heavy D brings a lot of wild projects to the shop, but this one takes the cake. Who thinks a Cement Truck would make a good Rock Crawler? Or Food Truck? Recovery Vehicle? Mobile Movie Theater?-
-
What do you think we should do with this build?

Do you want our awesome gear?

Alan should take the mixer unit and use it on his mountain fortress as a cement factory
Could you imagine he could have a permanent Tide detergent hot tub, bath and washing machine for 1.
Good idea
As we learned with hunter, working with heavy d you don't get too much time to work on your own stuff outside of his projects.
I thought the note on the visor warned it was full (as in hardened) ??
@@SegoMan you can still get it out
The fact that Alan made taking everything off that truck sound so simple all while eating a box of chicken was PRICELESS! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
That’s what I said! Hahaha
He is The Wizard
@@charlesjohnsjr.5809 No! No! He be da Wizard!
🤣🏆
A true wizard!!
As a long time MORR viewer, I'm so glad to see Skeeter working with these guys! Good on you man!
That’s first thing I thought
🦟
Wasn’t sure If that was the same skeeter or not
Skeeter still doing skeeter things lol. Just stole that dude's whole project and created some fucked up bumper design...lmao!
Consider making the "inserts" as modular. There could be a "Passenger Module", a "Crane Module", an "Off Road Emergency Office" module, an "Off Road Shop" module, etc, etc. They should be relatively Plug and Play and can new ideas can be added as you dream them up.
Exactly, it's what I call my "Thunderbird 2" concept - works for building into shipping containers, "J hook" slides, palletised plant that can be stacked, trailer load-outs, etc - just about anything that one might want, or need, to be removable can be made like that.
Sometimes it's referred to as a "cassette".
@@gordowg1wg145 Shipping containers are (probably) taller than necessary and far heavier than such things would need. Also need tons of framing and insulation inside. Might as well make frames and clad with aluminum and plywood.
@@davidelliott5843
Hmmm, not sure if you've actually seen a shipping container close up, let alone worked with them?
Besides, that was an example, rather than a requirement, for the concept?
John Barclay is a bad, bad dude in the very best way possible. I can't say enough good about him and loved seeing him mixing it up with the Sparks crew on this video!
Do you know him personally?
@@SparksMotorsCo Yes I do. John saved my butt on a project I got in trouble with. There's a barn still standing under all the snow this year because he took the time to fix my mess. Absolute rock star.
Wizard only gets paid 17 an hour guys....isn't that fucked up
What company does John work for? You mentioned X-ray??
Alan is the best. We need more of him in this world
i'm an Alan, people online can't stand me, i get told to shut up a lot, the internet doesn't like facts or science, they prefer woo woo and nonsense and smooooothe brains, my brain is big and poggy, it's a curse at the moment :(
🏆
he only gets paid 17 an hour guys....isn't that fucked up
@@simpleman7516 whaaaat how do you know this?
@@simpleman7516 where did you get this from??
If I had to guess, Alan is about 300 years old. Not because of looks, but bc of pure knowledge, technique, and everything else he possess lol
For real. How the hell does he not a lot about everything.
His brain is forever working overtime.
It never stops.
When I heard what his history of studying was, I nearly fell over!
I like how Hans just rubbs it al in and just enjoys the whole moment.
What a talented group of guys. Can't wait to see the Moab fun. Glad to see Skeeter join the crew.
Skeeter is a huge asset to the team
Now, where is Trevor? I thought they were working on something together.
L0l skeeter is like a highschool slut with how he jumps around yotube channels
Ahhh I’ve finally found out where skeeter went from Matt’s off-road recovery!

Im so glad I found this channel. I watch the main one but I was jsut saying the other day, "man, they never build anything on this channel." I totally miss watching you all be creative. Love it.
I could not agree more. I love this stuff.
"What do we do when we don't know how to do something?" "We start doing it!" Love these guys. The combined knowledge here is staggering. They are awesome!!!

Nice Deasil Dave painting
Alan spitting knowledge while violating that chickens carcass was so surreal.
Lmao. Allen. Just a couple of bolts
Cut the mixer drum in 1/2 , make a corkscrew water slide 😎
Loved seeing white walker and skeeter .. was like they have always been a part of the crew. always enjoy the insight the wizard brings to the table.
I want what Skeeter's on.......funniest episode, I was in stiches.
My vote: Food truck to trail the crew on jobs that take a day or more.
Awesome to see Skeeter on this project I miss seeing him work on projects his skill and humor is always awesome to watch!! The best part for me on this Video was the surprise of seeing John Barclay work with yall!! One of the best and nicest Dudes I know! So cool to see him in on this project with yall!!
Was Mr Barclay the "White Walker" gentleman?
He's low-key SMART!
Skeeters a great fit over there!
So good to see Skeeter joined the Spark Bros!!!!
John Barclay is a bad a$$ human being. Beast of a man and a gentler, nicer human being you will not find. One of the hardest working guys out there, too. That guy would take the shirt off his back for a complete stranger if he needed it. Glad to call him a friend.
Great guy
Yupp Johnbar is the man
I'm glad to see Skeeter working with you.
You know a rock crawling food truck would be cool to see.
Hell yeah!
Then take it to Moab and serve food and a difficult area to reach
I mean, all the rock crawler drivers gotta eat too. Lol. What a surprise that would be. You drive up to a group in the middle of a course and are like… “you want tacos?”
Honestly a Mobil off road food truck would be dope
Taco truck is more up Heavy D’s alley
Is that Skeeter formerly with Matt’s Off Road? Sure looks like the same guy.
This video reminds me of the old days with DB.
so glad Mr.D show up, now get busy thks heavy d
Skeeter is awesome, Im glad to see him there now!! He deserves the opportunity!!
The drum motor would make a great winch.
Hydraulic? Hell yah!
What about turning the giant burrowing into a barbecue pit having the the spout for the smokestack
I love me some Skeeter. Thank you for your time.
🦟
Rob took that like a champ !!!
Right!?!? I would have been a little more upset
I’m trying to figure out how Skeeter thinks it’s fine to just grab some steel and do all that, especially being the new guy. Either that’s set up or he’s high haha
11/10 entertainment value here. Another top notch video boys! Good job Rob and Skeeter 🎉
For what it’s worth that future military looking bumper looks SICK!!!!
Ahhh John Barclay! That guys is awesome. I've used Barclay Mechanical as a contractor quite a few times. Awesome guy to work with.
Should make a submarine with the mixer😂😂😂
That's one way to make an entrance Skeeter! This was hilarious!! 😂
Hey Heavy D, what are going to do with the drum?
@@alaisteremslie7362 Sell it to a placer miner to make a trommel or a prewash unit for heavy clay material!
🦟😎
Love how Heavy D hardly shows up until someone else tries to run a machine for 1/2 a second.
Where is Heavy D ? He made the show.
Hahaha😂 David is funny. He jumps in like he was helping the whole time. 😂😅
Well, now I know where Skeeter went! I just found this channel. Looks like another one I’ll be hooked on!
Hell of a job Skeeter! Hans is a drama Queen 👸
We were just having fun with it. No drama 🦟😂

John Barclay is a total badass!!! He does a lot of work at the refinery I work for! Best of the best....
Yea buddy! It's great to have home just up the road!
Nice one Skeeter!👍. Good to see you on the channel 👊
Thanks for watching
Make the mixer into a compost pile to grow produce. Sustainability!! Love yall!! Bet Alan would be into it
( A great lesson in story telling through editing ) tHanks for the video.......I should take notes....
Give that bearded man (John) a job, he knows knowledge. Seems like a top bloke!
Ice cream maker. World’s largest
Ol Skeeter was a Righand!?!? 💪
🦟drilling rigs all kinds,
Casing, workovers, completion
The Barclay man (Boomer) was the first person in this video to know the difference between cement and concrete. Plus he seems to know what he is doing. A top fellow for sure.
Love seeing Skeeter and JohnBar!
Great seeing Skeeter in action!
That truck would make a great bug out expedition camper rig. Or before yet a rolling toolbox / work shop for some of the recovery missions. Instead of having to load up all the tools everytime, throw a shorty conex box with the most needed gear and put side by side crossways and go on an adventure.
You could call it Camelot and let the Wizard drive it.
Adventure camper would be so sweet!!
Agreed. An overlander type vehicle that can sleep 4-6 people so when you’re remote, you don’t have to spend so much travel time going back and forth to a hotel.
@@clembillingsly1873 Do they still have the Mercedez motor home?
@@roverguy23 nope, I think it was a freightliner, that grey one, I just saw it advertised somewhere as a giveaway vehicle with a different group
Mixer mechanic here guys, love the videos, the corrosion yall are talking about in the video isn't from normal wear, most of these trucks get soaked in acid 2 to 3 times a week if not more. The concrete acid companies claim it won't damage metal but they lie lol.
SKEETER!!! So glad to see you on YT again.
🦟
Love that Alan is torch cutting with nothing but sunnies on haha. Super on brand!
Okay… all you need is 10 of these cement truck barrels… stacked on end like bowling pins… on Whistlin Diesel’s property… then a black hawk helicopter carrying WD’s Ferrari and releasing it down the hill towards the “pins” - simple as that! 🤷🏻♂️
this... this right here!
I thought that same thing!
Awesome Crew Heavy D! You’re so lucky to have all those great men who obviously love & are great at their jobs. You must treat them well & with respect.
You can use that drum to make the worlds largest smoothie maker !!!!!😂
Skeeter is the best brother Master mechanic 🧰
Y'all better treat Alan really good and take good care of him cause I'd be bummed big time if he ever leaves the channel!
The Giant white walker guy has to join your crew Heavy
What’s his nickname??
Watching the shop guys do their thing without Heavy or Diesel was cool. I'm glad they created this channel. It showcases their many talents and skills.
Great bumper 🤣🤣🤣🍻🇨🇦 you guys handled that so well. Hope you get some fun use out of it !
I’m so glad you brought Alan on board he is a great asset to the team!
100%
Love Skeeter, missed him on Matt’s off-road recovery
Alan back in Florida during the sixties i worked for a cement company and our truck drivers during the Disney world building process, we had older trucks that would get stuck in the sugar sand on the Disney property and the concrete would set-up, so i was the person who took the drums to Tampa Florida with an old diamond Reo with split shifters truck one arm through the steering wheel shifting at nineteen years old and no clue about how much weight i had on the bed of my truck.
They would drill holes in the concrete put dynamite sticks in it and wrap the drum in a thick blanket chain it to ground concrete to slabs ... set the charge off and empty the small pieces into a pile to be recycled back into new concrete.
Love you videos and watch everyone Glenn.
I have a dmv appointment at 2:40 but ill watch what I can and resume afterwards so good afternoon my friends and sending some love from Cali👊🙏😎
Man that looks like some good work I would never want a new job if I worked in that shop
It’s a good time! Thanks for watching
Hey Sparks Motor !!! Better get Alan to build a roll cage for the motor as that will be the 1st to get destroyed in a rollover at MOAB !! Also ,put smaller diameter tires on the rear pickup axle so that it doesn't pick the drive axles off the ground when it hits the rocks & loose braking traction but still can be used as a lift to change those drive tires !! Better build a rescue container in the bed for lots of spare parts that will be needed like front & rear drive shafts & U-joints as Dave only has 1 speed & that's ""HAMMER DONE & WIDE OPEN "" !! HAHA 🙂😂🙃😉😊😛👍👍👍👍👍
The cement barrel would make a cool canon
Wish there had been more video of the actual work on the truck
I love it skeeter is on so many channels 😂😂😂😂
Diesel Bros. Smoker!
Mount it upright on a low boy trailer and build a fire box. Then you will have the world's largest wood fired smoker!
Bull shot Skeeter is Rob’s two arms for the next week.
Skeeter gets to learn a new trade while Rob oversees, and drinks coffee or tea
Skeeter left Matt’s off-road to go to sparks motors i finally figured where he went 😮
he went to everyone else before landing at sparks :)
Imagine an interchangeable utility vehicle. You could create a base system that would allow for a multitude of configurations. You could have a passenger cage unit, crane unit, etc… Each would be able to clamp/bolt together similarly for ease in between use types. Looking forward to whatever happens. All the best, cheers!
That’s what Oshkosh does pretty much, they do all kinds of stuff
A torch is your best friend working on them trucks do it for a living pretty easy to work on
Such pleasant surprise to see Skeeter there!!
And being such an integral part of the whole thing is supposed to bring it in that White Walker scary dude who was So knowledgeable and helpful!!!
🦟👍🏻
A most excellent ending to Bill and Ted's excellent adventure LOL! I can't believe how hard I was laughing at the very end. Well done guys!
Overland truck? Camper? In that one shot with reverse. The sparks going back into the welder….really cool!
I’m always good with a camper
The barrel looks like a big cannon.!!!
Need more mixer truck content! Love the idea. Maybe a grapple saw truck for disaster response this hurricane season?
The content on this channel just keeps getter better
I lost it when Allen went yum yum yum yum yum 💀💀💀💀💀

Just like my old boss, you only work outside on the coldest or the hottest day of the year! On the nice days you go work inside!

Those mixing drums make great firepits if you stand them on end. The fins inside make a fire vortex out of the top that is AMAZING....if it wasn't full of cement too.
That would actually be amazing.
The cement drum would make a cool kids fort standing strait up. Donate it to a local park. Like a rocket ship... Or you could pull a myth buster. Take it to the middle of no place. And blow it up...
Turn the barrel into a giant Rotisserie... Image the BBQ you could through with that thing!! and OMG... How did I not know Skeeter was at Sparks Motors... enjoying the organized chaos !! 🤣🤣

That barrel looks like it'd make a good looking cannon :) Flamethrower cannon?
A off-road taco truck would be great for big events out the desert or mud bogs, anything off-road adventured!!
