Around 10 mins away from Mont' Kiara, we are within an enclave between a huge lake and Jalan Kuching where Lakeville Residence is located at. I am not a fan of the entrance to the development via the landed neighbourhood but the internal road gets wider than that.
I was here when it was VPed, and 7 years later I am very impressed with the condition especially the facilities deck. But personally I'm more curious about the implementation of design philosophy by the team since this was already perceived as very high density back then. The science to not make people feel dwarfed or claustrophobic is then the magic formula for this developer.
That centralized carpark that leads to it being a mega canvas for facilities. The limited number of units within a single loaded corridor in a floor plate that allows every bedroom to have windows. Private lobbies and communal area for each tower. Lots of hidden spaces within the facilities. These are the common moves they make in their new development but I'm looking forward for more.

As a former resident of 4 years, just wanna point out that traffic can be insanely long as the only means for us to commute to Jalan Kuching is through the densely narrow neighbourhood of Taman Wahyu along Jalan Sibu followed by the Jalan Kepong Lama around kampung Delima. There was supposedly a road that was meant to give us a quicker access to the highway as promised by the developers but work was constantly delayed throughout the years despite our attempts at reaching out for DBKL. It's only recently that the construction restarted and is scheduled to complete by late January 2024.

Those money-minded developer doesn't care about dat. They just good at finding empty plot of land & build highly densed pigeonholes & sell at exorbitant price & dupe ppl into believing buy nw or regret later scheme😊
Just take a look at projects nearby kepong metropolitan park. 🙃

Just FYI, my friend is staying in block D was complaining some residence there don't pay maintenance fees for few years, ended up their access card got terminated by the management. And so these guys just stand at the lobby waiting for other residences so they can enter the block.
With that maintenance fees, the management could have more budget to make this project more appealing.
Hopefully can see more of your videos in Kepong area (Kiara bay, Pintasan Segambut, Jalan Ipoh)

Sometimes we need to be stereotypical enough to avoid these sort of problems. A condo in this area is always going to have problems like this where owners don’t pay maintenance fees.. i stayed in Kepong and Jalan Ipoh before mind you, so I’m speaking from experience.

Should have a law to protect management n other residents , so when these basket don’t pay their maintenance fees there are proper actions taken like lelong their house lol. So irresponsible, they dint pay nvm but afraid management don’t upkeep the facilities bcoz of them

@@JasonLeong-zp3dv Historically these Jinjang/Kepong areas are considered lower socioeconomic areas and the mentality of people who may choose to live in these areas might not be so civic minded. Don't mean to be elitist or anything but many people are very trusting until they experience this for themselves.

Indeed Lakeville Residence is a nice place to stay. I am a tenant and have been staying here for 2 years plus. My brother bought a unit here and I am staying at the same block with him for my parents convenience to visit both of us at the same time.
But the downside of staying at Lakeville is the morning traffic towards Jalan Ipoh and Jalan Kuching in the morning especially weekdays. You can queue for half an hour just to reach the junction. Then it takes another 10-15 minutes to enter Jalan Kuching.
I am planning to move out by end of the year because I can see if Lake City's residents are moving in the traffic will become worse. Nowadays the jam queue will start at 6.30am and I think soon or later it will start earlier.
I really like this place as it is really quiet and you can have a peace of mind to stay here. Unfortunately the traffic is so terrible and it is far from my current office.

Having stayed in RC and in comparison, the feeling is that these shared facilities and the distance of it from own unit seems less convenient, i prefer own set of facilities in each block, and the experience of arriving the moment lift opens
Higher density also will contribute enough people to flourish the commercial lots in a real mixed development that has more than 2 rows of shops 😊
