- We left New York City and moved to Malaysia. We check out several apartments in Kuala Lumpur to find our new home. One of the big priorities was to find a dog-friendly condo so we can bring our dog over from the United States. The buildings we checked out are Novum, Verticas, and Goodwood. There were pros and cons to each one. Let us know which one you liked. We sent an offer on one of the apartments. We'll let you know if it goes through. #malaysia #kualalumpur #apartmenttour

Desa Park City is dog friendly surely people have recommended it
Yes, our realtor agent mentioned it. Thank you. Right now we're carless, maybe in the future it might be an option. But we'll visit for sure.
Dog friendly condo is 2 years old condo Ativo Suite at Sri Damansara. The neighbourhood totally dog friendly. There used to be even pet hotel downstairs and regularly have dog fair at Ativo Plaza open area
Ohh that's good know. Thank you. ❤️
My condo in Mont Kiara now is pet-friendly. You have 6 acre of space to walk around with your dogs inside the condo.
Wow that's wonderful! Is it ok if you can share the condo for future reference? Thank you.
@@Married2Travel Agile Mont Kiara, walking distance to Publika & Solaris. Lush greenery and I believe it has the largest green space within its compound amongst all condos in Mont Kiara/Hartamas 😃 you should check out its swimming pool as well 🤙🏻
which apartment would you pick?

Thanks, yes the choices are limited in KL
Novum is good
How about in klcc? There are a few condos that I know near klcc are pet friendly, especially near to klcc park. Always see people walk their dog on the streets thwre too
Oh, it was one of our top choices but we didn't see any dog friendly places. Do you know of any for future info?
With the budget cant you get any landed houses around Bangsar?
Hi. We probably can in the future. We just didn't think it was an option as we are new to the city.
hello.welcome to Malaysia.where are you from ?
Thank you. We're Filipino Americans
@@Married2Travel thank you for your reply.hope you enjoy your stay/holiday in Malaysia.
Unfortunately a lot of Malaysians don’t like animals in their building. I am one of them😂 why? One is when you rent to tenants with a pet the property will be hard to re rent out after. It could be because of the lingering ‘smells’ or if renting out to some people they won’t want to rent a unit with that history for various reasons. So u might have to pay more to get such a unit u are looking for unless you fins a landed property
A sad reality unfortunately. We do understand, as a homeowner we too would not allow tenants to have pets, as we don't know how well behaved other pets are.
Get a bike that can folds into smaller. Walking under the sun is no no to us.
Thanks, we thought about doing that. We hear 15 mins is the max time to walk under the sun.
It's very difficult to find dog friendly condos in Malaysia. It's a Muslim country.
Unless, you buy your own house. Good luck.
Thank you, yes not too many choices. We didn't realize until we came here how difficult it was.
Were you not aware dogs are 'haram' / forbidden in Muslim countries?
Most people who own dogs have houses, not part of a gated community or condos.
I think you are paying too much. For about 3k yould do way better than the ones you considered. The price psf is just ridiculous.
You're right! We were looking for pet friendly condos which are very limited in this city. Do you have any recommendations?
