the performance boost would be from RSR, hyprRX just lowers input lag more and also allows for radeon boost so youd get similar performance and either same latency or better. Not a huge difference but not bad either@@brunorobertgonzalezvoigt2115

Whoaaaaa! Dude, I have measly rx5500xt OC and this is pretty damn cool. My card may working itself to death in some cases but everything looks fantabulous. No issues installing and no issues running. It truly is a thing of beauty. Thank you for sharing this (as it was new to me) and thank you to the dev(s) for creating this.
If you install modded drivers and use DDU to clean the modded drivers..it won't fully cleanup the leftovers from modded drivers and when you install official drivers, it interferes with some leftover drivers from the modded drivers. Make sure to use AMD Clean Up Utility and go to safe mode, while still in safe mode after the AMD clean up utility has done its job, use DDU to make sure everything is properly cleaned up.

@@sebasper1831 well with the testing I done they work well for games without fsr built in. I'm trying to push my Rx 6400 to its limits so trying to run everything 1080@60fps and with a little bit of testing today with armoured core 6 1080p high I was getting 45-50 fps so I dropped it to like 900p upscaled and went around 50-55 with some more tinkering I'm hoping to get it at 60 but this is just this game I'll have to try some others and see how much visual fidelity I need to sacrifice to get 60fps on newer games.

FIngers crossed... Im installing it even if its an old version atm. had random crash happening pointing to a driver issue every time. so i would have had to roll back anyways. I was expecting the benchmark comparison between official AMD driver and this modded driver so that it can convince me well to try it. Guess Imma just keep the official lamo.
I did a few benchmarks using the RadeonID community microcode. Superposition and Valley scores were both up across multiple runs. Nothing massive but it was consistent. I'm curious to play around with all the HYPR-RX settings. I don't play many games and what I play are non competitive horde shooters (darktide, starship troopers extermination) so most artifacts from FSR or upsclaing go unnoticed unless it's a blurry mess. I want stable frames close to 100fps as I can get with as much eye candy enables. I run over hdmi and 100Hz is my refresh cap at 3440x1440.
Need help on reinstalling my r9 fury drivers. Win 11 Used legacy gcn 23.11.1 When i get to classic radeon ui. The auto download fails. Downloading the cc software manually and installing doesnt seem to work properly. When opening the amd settings nothing happens Temp solution found. Tried express install and it still failed to install Radeon. V5.0_22.40 failed to download. (was not available under the dos interface) Downloaded and installed and it kind works but the ui crashes a bit. Edit: it seems it's trying to open support 64 files that are missing. Seems win 11 or files are missing for a successful intallation no matter what method I use.
Omega, that's a name for a driver I haven't heard in at least 2 decades. I used an Omega ATi Driver to squeeze the last bit out of my 9600XT, though boosting clock speeds on it only gets you so far. Thinking back always brings me to the question of why AMD decided to go with XT and XTX and not Pro and XT. Anyway, great Video, it reminded me of a feature I was missing, frame rate target, I remember that being part of the official drivers, I am currently locking them via Rivatuner/CapframeX.

I tried these drivers for 7900xt and was hit with minimal radeon software not working ( options like amd record were enabled but should not be possible, was not using the actual minimal package ) and i noticed some bugs with ui transparency. ill wait a few months and try amernime again, for now i am sticking with official drivers
on the "SELECT UI DEPENDENCIES TO INSTALL:" part i press 3 (which is the same as the one you did in the video) and it installs something that isnt readable in the amd files so i cant move on from that :(

You are right about something in the CYBERPUNK numbers were 25 fps before and after 50 fps, I have a video that I just recorded, as I sent it to you so you can see the current state.

Hi Fabio, I removed the drivers with ddu and followed your instructions...still, I can't activate RSR, Antilag and Boost at the same time...I also unchecked frame target control...what should I do? I use a rx 6700 xt and 5600 processor. *EDIT!!: guys, select "CUST BALANCED" this did work for me!
I tried it on gaming laptop, did all the steps correctly, but at the end the AMD Software wont open ( the version of the AMD Software that you launched is not compatible with the currently installed one.😢 Have i done something wrong ?? I have R7 5800H w/ rtx 3050
I tried using this method but it looks like the adrenalin software itself the interface won't install even with all the steps done, I tried restarting it on my 4800h laptop but it won't appear even after a reboot after the install.

🙂👍 i like it, i tried it on my 5700 XT, if anyone doesnt know the oldest video cards looks like you can use is the bus powerered HD 7730 and HD7750, they run about 30 dollars here in the usa in the used market, theres also the HD 7770 with a six pin plug. They all have 1GB of DDR5, you can play GTA V all day long on these potato cards on low settings, you mite need an older monitor or tv to see the display cause the hdmi and display ports were different back then and newer displays don't necessarily fall back to the older standards tho its suppose to but its a lie. Moving forward everybody with a radeon card should learn to use these drivers.
Does doing a clean install erase all hotkeys, stream/recording settings and or fan and over clocked settings? If yes then is there anyway to keep settings the same?
Yes, but at least for the overclocks you can export those to a file. Don't use the default directory though, the file will get deleted. I'm not sure about thehockey's, but any custom directories for videos and such will also be deleated.
You can export/I put your setting.I just redo my undervolt every time I update my drivers. I believe that in his last two driver update videos he's said that their has been issues with importing settings but I haven't tested it myself

i got to the very end of installing drivers but when i actually went to got select the UI DEPENDENCIES (2) it just gives me a fatal error message of, "Classic CCC Package were not installed or you're using windows store apps version" is there a way around this or am i just unable to use this?

I came across a guy on steam claiming his modded drivers on a 7900XTX are delivering like 40-50% more fps than a 4090, how is this possible? Are they modding half of the visual effects out or something? He showed screenshots of in game benches that didn't appear to be faked, like getting over 120fps average on 4K ultra in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, where my 7900XTX only gets an average of like 77fps.
I ran the setup, once I got to the screen with installing amd display driver, my screen went black for a second, then came back and the setup closed.. What am I doing wrong?

It didnt actually installed on your pc, i have same problem like you but i installed in my laptop. When i tried to play game after restarting and download the modded driver it cause lag and other problem. Then when i try to open dxdiag the vram didnt show up.
Hello, Fabio. I was wondering if you could tell me which one is better. I had issues with my card lowering frequency so I installed MPT and disabled deepsleep mode and set minimum frequency to 2500 and I haven’t had that issue since then. Do you think installing modded drivers and disabling ULC is a better option? I had issues with stuttering, that’s why I needed to do this
@jsebo15 so once you install it the first time, restart your computer and do the same process again. Install it again, but don't ddu and it should work that's what I did
Quick question. When you tune your GPU you get a warning about warranty voiding. Is this the same with this custom driver? Will enabling it cause your warranty to be voided?
dont let them know u used modded drivers. if u get gpu issues, uninstall the drivers with DDU and install the regular drivers then show them ur pc and say u had issues no warranty void:D

A experiência que tive aqui foi testando em Cyberpunk 2077 e Watch Dogs Legion para fazer os testes. O resultado me surpreendeu, Cyberpunk de 4k baixei para renderizar em 1440p, imagem final ficou muito semelhante ao 4k nativo e já consegui uns 80fps, jogo no ultra, com RT OFF e reflexos no Alto. Watch Dogs com tudo no máximo possível + RayTracing Ultra, coloquei para renderizar em full hd, que seria o FSR desempenho, porém ficou bem superior a qualidade do FSR desempenho, mas da para notar a perda de definição, mas ainda assim a imagem final foi positivo pelo RayTracing deixar esse jogo mais atraente e rodou a uns 70fps. De qualquer forma acho melhor usar esse recurso do driver, que só diminuir a resolução normal.

i still dont understand the advantage of these drivers. like especially in my case (vega 56) i do not know what i "get" when i use these instead of official. that is what is so annoying. because it's so complex with all the different installers and all the different options. but what does it actually help me on vega , point for point
Well, I've run into a major issue with my laptop and I was hoping these drivers could save me, but I ran into issues with them too. So basically my laptop forced me to use the drivers Windows wanted for ages now and I decided to uninstall them using DDU and to install the newest ones to get more performance. So I uninstalled the drivers with DDU, but when I try to install any AMD driver the installation fails with error 1603 and a bunch of error messages. I tried multiple times, ran DDU many times, with and without safe mode, they just don't work for some reason. Then I tried these modded drivers (I downloaded the specific version used in the video from the archive) and everything went fine until it asked me if I wanted to install the Radeon software. As soon as I say yes the installer throws an error saying it couldn't install the Radeon software and closing. When I click no it closes as expected. But when I reboot, as the success message before it asked me if I wanted the software or not told me to do, nothing changes. The drivers just aren't installed, despite what the installer says. Also when I try to run the newest version of this modded driver (after unpacking it) nothing happens. Also I think about installing these drivers on my PC, but my main concern is the updating. Does it have an updater, like the Radeon Software or will I have to manually install every new version that releases?

Makes no difference... performance wise it is just rsr doing its job, and in some cases boost. Did that in my Hypr-RX video

I've been uninstalling and installing this modded driver back and forth and looks like RSR and Anti-lag+ is not available for RX570, so sad man.....

Hi Fabio, I removed the drivers with ddu and followed your instructions...still, I can't activate RSR, Antilag and Boost at the same time...I also unchecked frame target control...what should I do? I use a rx 6700 xt and 5600 processor.

I tried it on gaming laptop, did all the steps correctly, but at the end the AMD Software wont open ( the version of the AMD Software that you launched is not compatible with the currently installed one.😢

I tried using this method but it looks like the adrenalin software itself the interface won't install even with all the steps done,
I tried restarting it on my 4800h laptop but it won't appear even after a reboot after the install.

As soon as you dont activate anti lag+ you're fine. Valve is to blame here sadly

🙂👍 i like it, i tried it on my 5700 XT, if anyone doesnt know the oldest video cards looks like you can use is the bus powerered HD 7730 and HD7750, they run about 30 dollars here in the usa in the used market, theres also the HD 7770 with a six pin plug. They all have 1GB of DDR5, you can play GTA V all day long on these potato cards on low settings, you mite need an older monitor or tv to see the display cause the hdmi and display ports were different back then and newer displays don't necessarily fall back to the older standards tho its suppose to but its a lie. Moving forward everybody with a radeon card should learn to use these drivers.

Yes, but at least for the overclocks you can export those to a file. Don't use the default directory though, the file will get deleted.
I'm not sure about thehockey's, but any custom directories for videos and such will also be deleated.
You can export/I put your setting.I just redo my undervolt every time I update my drivers.
I believe that in his last two driver update videos he's said that their has been issues with importing settings but I haven't tested it myself

i got to the very end of installing drivers but when i actually went to got select the UI DEPENDENCIES (2) it just gives me a fatal error message of, "Classic CCC Package were not installed or you're using windows store apps version"
is there a way around this or am i just unable to use this?
I believe you can manually download it, or you're selecting the wrong version?

hey man, I had this issue too, I fixed it by disabling my antivirus, pausing the protection, try it if it doesn't work.

I came across a guy on steam claiming his modded drivers on a 7900XTX are delivering like 40-50% more fps than a 4090, how is this possible? Are they modding half of the visual effects out or something? He showed screenshots of in game benches that didn't appear to be faked, like getting over 120fps average on 4K ultra in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, where my 7900XTX only gets an average of like 77fps.

It didnt actually installed on your pc, i have same problem like you but i installed in my laptop. When i tried to play game after restarting and download the modded driver it cause lag and other problem. Then when i try to open dxdiag the vram didnt show up.

I had issues with my card lowering frequency so I installed MPT and disabled deepsleep mode and set minimum frequency to 2500 and I haven’t had that issue since then. Do you think installing modded drivers and disabling ULC is a better option? I had issues with stuttering, that’s why I needed to do this
sadly the modded drivers are not working as intended no interface what so ever but I guess i will try again in a day after a fresh install of windows

@jsebo15 so once you install it the first time, restart your computer and do the same process again. Install it again, but don't ddu and it should work that's what I did
Quick question. When you tune your GPU you get a warning about warranty voiding. Is this the same with this custom driver? Will enabling it cause your warranty to be voided?
dont let them know u used modded drivers.
if u get gpu issues, uninstall the drivers with DDU and install the regular drivers
then show them ur pc and say u had issues

When I went to activate HYPR-RX, many other options appeared here for me, I activated HYPR-RX MODE 2, and it was perfect here.

@@raian-N10 não tenho mais monitor full hd aqui para testar, troquei o meu ano passado, mas acredito que não deve ficar muito bom, pois ai já vai baixar muito a resolução de renderização, mas eu testaria mesmo assim.
A experiência que tive aqui foi testando em Cyberpunk 2077 e Watch Dogs Legion para fazer os testes.
O resultado me surpreendeu, Cyberpunk de 4k baixei para renderizar em 1440p, imagem final ficou muito semelhante ao 4k nativo e já consegui uns 80fps, jogo no ultra, com RT OFF e reflexos no Alto.
Watch Dogs com tudo no máximo possível + RayTracing Ultra, coloquei para renderizar em full hd, que seria o FSR desempenho, porém ficou bem superior a qualidade do FSR desempenho, mas da para notar a perda de definição, mas ainda assim a imagem final foi positivo pelo RayTracing deixar esse jogo mais atraente e rodou a uns 70fps.
De qualquer forma acho melhor usar esse recurso do driver, que só diminuir a resolução normal.

i still dont understand the advantage of these drivers. like especially in my case (vega 56) i do not know what i "get" when i use these instead of official. that is what is so annoying. because it's so complex with all the different installers and all the different options. but what does it actually help me on vega , point for point
Well, I've run into a major issue with my laptop and I was hoping these drivers could save me, but I ran into issues with them too.
So basically my laptop forced me to use the drivers Windows wanted for ages now and I decided to uninstall them using DDU and to install the newest ones to get more performance. So I uninstalled the drivers with DDU, but when I try to install any AMD driver the installation fails with error 1603 and a bunch of error messages. I tried multiple times, ran DDU many times, with and without safe mode, they just don't work for some reason. Then I tried these modded drivers (I downloaded the specific version used in the video from the archive) and everything went fine until it asked me if I wanted to install the Radeon software. As soon as I say yes the installer throws an error saying it couldn't install the Radeon software and closing. When I click no it closes as expected. But when I reboot, as the success message before it asked me if I wanted the software or not told me to do, nothing changes. The drivers just aren't installed, despite what the installer says. Also when I try to run the newest version of this modded driver (after unpacking it) nothing happens.
Also I think about installing these drivers on my PC, but my main concern is the updating. Does it have an updater, like the Radeon Software or will I have to manually install every new version that releases?

@@fin6203 Do you have an APU or a dedicated GPU? If you only have an APU, did you pick the APU option? Also which vendors are your GPUs from, if you have multiple GPUs?
