I've been thinking about a fully serrated spyderco lately. Never used one myself. I can absolutely agree about the pocket clips though. I've got a handful of knives put away without clips cause I needed it for another knife. I've only ever broke a spyderco clip, well 5 of them so far.
I've got the standard version and I really enjoy carrying it and playing with it. I really love your reviews. I wish you would make more. How about the Spyderco Military 2? I bought one and it's my favorite among all the knives I own. I was originally into big knives but as time went on, I found myself carrying smaller knives. I still do but my bias towards big blades has returned. The knives I usually carry these days are my Military 2, Police 4 LW, Native Chief, Yojumbo and Resilience. I'm thinking of bringing out my CRKT Otanashi Noh Ken, Fossil (large), Carnufex and Seismic again.
Most serrated blades are chisel grind. At least the ones i have seen. I think aftermarket pakka wood grips would look amazing. I too have the spyderco addiction.
Maaan Very good words at the end. We all need to tell our friends and family that. Put all the pride on hold for a damn second. Because one day, they or you will be gone. Great vid brother frm san antonio tx
Hi, great knife, what a beast really, can't imagine the damage this could do to a finger if you would do a mistake ! I recently got an Endura in VG-10 and it's pretty good, and by all means it's not a "small pocket knife", but now looking back at this maybe I should've gotten a Police 4 instead, and combining it with a Delica. To add the benefits a super good steel like K390 with the performance enhancement of serrations sounds like a good idea... until you have to sharpen it, which hopefully you won't have to before a long time. I really wonder how K390 serrations hold up compared VG-10 serrations of cheaper Spyderco knives, some people on the Spyderco forums were saying that for the Spyderedge the key is to maintain it often otherwise it becomes a pain to fix. Also it would be an awesome gift to a non-knife person which doesn't want to bother sharpening knives imo. I actually did enjoy the "sob shit" in the end, it's good to add some personal thoughts like that in your videos, greetings from France.
I have the plain edge k390 and just ordered the serrated edge for $113.15. Couldn’t pass it up because I like the plain edge police 4 lw so much 😅 Lynch NW long clip is the way to go. IMO. No b.s just a few screws 👍🏻 If the police had the same boyd dent as the Endura it would be perfect 👌🏻
Just got one for $113, excited to maintain the edge. Getting back into doing stuff is the best way to feel better, imo. I even stopped making knives for a couple years which is insane. I used to stay up until like 3 every night doing it now nothing.
I just grabbed one. I'm trying to find fine diamond cylindrical sharpening rods for it but I haven't had any luck. Or SiC rods, as k390 is so hard average sharpening medium won't work. I know I won't have to sharpen it for a long while, but I want to touch it up before letting it become a serious task. How do you plan to sharpen this high hardness high vanadium steel?
How do you like it 7 months later? I want to buy one but even with a few years experience with my kme I would be scared to sharpen something with full serrations.
You been on vacation pal , but good to see you back and with another great blade by Spyderco, the olny thing i don't like about that knife os the Name police 🚓🚨 other than that it's a fantastic pocket knife.
I just want to personally Thankyou for being one of the meany who support my channel. Thankyou. You help motivate me to make the videos I make. Thankyou.
Great choice! I have a native 5 salt that’s serrated. Cuts better and faster then a plain edge with better geometry overall. Edit: if you don’t like the scale color you could always use some rit dye in boiling water to re-color them like I did making the native 5s yellow scales almost an OD Green color. Unless you like keeping your knives stock which I fully understand.

A Pocket Chainsaw , that will cut just about anything, good choice with the serrated edge blade. 📸💯
To cut a pizza with this must be a greaaaaaat feeling.
(but maybe I'm just weird doe)

I'm thinking about sending mine to Tom Veff for those nasty large serrations. K390 would be the perfect steel for those.

These are on sale right now discontinued.... Might have to snag one!
I just ordered mine
I have one and it's so light weight and plastic. I feel like i can break it in half with my hand.
