Those wolverine beast claws are pretty dope. I’m in love with the heavy attack and the skill 😊
I like the backhand since its kinda like bloodhound step the only difference is that instead of evading backwards you do it forward. which is pretty cool it keeps me up close and personal
In the forge where you got the smithscript dagger you can also get the anvil hammer which is really powerful. It’s just up the pipe you lower down using the lever.

You missed an important detail with the backhand blade. You can two hand it to equip a copy on your left hand and dual wield them.

You get it when you find the Monk's Missive at the grace with Miquellas cross behind Castle Ensis. It's not that far from when you meet Dane.

I think I will have to trade my dry leaf gauntlets to another character for a play through, wanted to do a playthrough just using them as a sick monk character all game, but you have to get really far into the base game to even access the dlc

Back hand blade single or double handed use light attacks if your just running around way faster then just sprinting

I guess , relied to the position of them, the thrusting shields may be the best weapons of the nw ones, if not the best all around, if they , hopefully , scale with strenght, and maybe , and now I dream, can be with parried, should be the most op weapon ever, beeing able to defend, and attack, and, as the animation of the fingerprint stoneshield, u can’t be attacked while attacking yourself, would make it the perfect weapon for kill and also fun, parry is fun, kill is king, only maybe if I am lucky with those

NOTE: The ash of war does not come natively on the Milady. You have to get it separately.
The great katana is pretty weak imo. I upgraded it a lot and specced my character with dex and str. But it doesnt do much damage and it swings super slow
Looks like most of these are Strength/Dexterity Weapons. I was trying to decide my new build since I'm starting a new game and was thinking of going pure Dexterity, but it looks like I'll be aiming at strength as well too! I really want to try that first weapon- the light greatsword, that sounds like my kind of weapon!
Just keep in mind that these are just the “starter” weapons for the new classes. Not a spoiler but most of the cool/fun weapons are somewhat faith based.

Be loud about it! The dlc have only just come out so if the community reflects that the scaling is inadwquate for this late in the game fromsoft is likely to improve it in a patch!
