We are so poor at defending set pieces, it's actually unbelievable.
Your face in that thumbnail đ could tell it was a good win just from that even if hadnât seen the game.
Letâs be honest Iâm sure 100% of ranjurs fans will want lennon to stay this season, theyâll be happy we have a manager that doesnât believe in video analysis to continually improve and stop making the same mistakes, a manager that doesnât believe in tactics, or having a squad fit enough to last 60 minutes against teams that donât just park the double decker in front on goal. Doesnât have an ideal formation that he coaches into his players till they understand everyone in the teams roles.
Didn't think it was a "great performance".
Good 1st half but the 2nd was pedestrian, standing off Motherwell and letting them boss the game at times. Any good team will give us a hiding if we play like that. 4-1 flattered us, 2 goals on the break when they're pushing for an equaliser doesn't really make it an amazing performance.

Elyanoussi took his goals well . Celtic came out traps with real intent but the energy and sense of urgency soon waned as Motherwell grew in confidence - in fact , they had many chances to score more goals . The Celtic defence is still a worry ; too timid for my liking . Anyway , it was an important win and hopefully the team performances get better from now on .
Good to get a convincing win today, still donât think lennon is the man for the job though.
The man shouldnât have been given the job on a full time basis! Should sack him tomorrow Motherwell couldâve scored more today!

Coaching still not right , the defence would have been sharpened up massively under a decent coaching system, even despite varying personnel changes the coaching still isnât right , Iâm glad of this break to hope and try we can switch on, but sadly coaching isnât changing
Lennon and all backroom coaching staff out now or ten is over. Same old hope for the best defending and then run forward 20 yards with the ball to pass it backwards 40 yards. Pathetic really. Every game the same shit.
The truth. We 'celtic fans' are delusional after 9 seasons of dominance. It's rangers title to lose unless there big changes in that defence. It's so poor. Bitton isn't a natural defender neither is Ajer for that matter. Elhamed needs to be in at right back he can actually cross a ball. Need more consistency

The guy shouldnât have been given the job in the 1st place! I agree having brought him in when the rat left to join Leicester to steady the ship, but after the cup final get rid and donât look back! Cheap option- which is Celtic all over! If we keep him we definitely will not win 10! Today we are still defensively weak that wonât change under him- if you guys think heâs the man for the job god help us! The rangers arenât a great side but look great compared to us! This is basically the same team that has won countless trophies! So whatâs happened? Lennon is whatâs happened
Whether folk like it or not Lennon is the manager and there's not much better out there available to us. Some of the managers that certain Tims fool themselves into thinking we can attract are cringey......we are not in a position to attract managers and players that are anything other than 'the cheap option.' Might be worth remembering that a fair few of those trophies you are talking about were won under Lennon.
Ajer and Biton will not do against better strikers. Defences win leagues and ours is shocking at it's worst suspect at it's best

4-1 against Motherwell is expected of Celtic.
Anything less would have been a disaster and it nearly was!!! I was against Lennon's appointment at the time as he destroys teams like he did at hibs. It's a massive gamble to replace him now but I think it's better that we are brave, make big decisions and get shot of him before he costs us

@@MrBagpipes was maybe a bit critical, but we can't accept mediocrity. I feel we gave them too much space at the start of the 2nd half. Full disclosure- i didn't get to see the first half.
@@bittyshottoms1007 lennon is simply unable to take us where we want to be in and around Europe, and you can see his skills arent even dominating in Scotland anymore. Itâs all good in blaming players but managers job to win games, you change the manager you change the whole out look on the game and players, different ideas etc everything different. We have the squad thatâs for sure. See what position we are in down the line, in saying that Iâm scared every game we play.
@@bittyshottoms1007 you should have watched the whole game. Motherwell had a decent spell for 20 minutes after half time and that was it.

Hoping Shane Duffy can get his form back. He is a quality defender. Maybe finding it harder when not surrounded by higher level players like hed be used to in Premiership.
That comment makes no sense at all.
I hope he gets his form back too, but he was brought in to hit the ground running & do a job. Unfortunately heâs been nowhere near good enough đ
Too many premiership players come up here and don't get the intensity of Scottish football. Duffy is one. Need to beef up the centre of defence in the next window.
