If you added red and green bell peppers and Thai basil then this would be perfect..🙂
1) separate some coconut cream side
2) little oil + 2 tbsp panang curry powder
- fry
3) Add the remaining coconut cream
- fry until creamy and oil separates
4) Add coconut milk
- cook until it comes to a boil
5) 1 kilo chicken
- cook chicken until almost done
6) 1 tbsp palm sugar, 2 tbsp fish sauce,
1/2 tsp chicken boulian seasoning (optional)
- completely cook chicken
7) Add kaffir like leaves, cook further
8) Drizzle with coconut cream, garnish w/ kaffir lime leaves
Where can I found those leaves ? In in California

Does frying the panang paste remove some of the heat - even half of a table spoon is to much for my kids and they eat spicy panang at restaurants. If I add more then there is more flavor but it's to spicy (and I'm used to spicy indian and thai food)
Heating the paste is to release the oils in the herbs for flavor. Balance the heat with sugar or coconut milk/cream and/or fish sauce/salt. Sometimes I use peanut butter/powder.
