These Institutes provide training programmes in the fields of gastronomy, wine, hospitality and tourism, from initiation to MBA.
Studying in a Le Cordon Bleu institute enables connections to be made on every continent.
Chef Eric Briffard : "I believe that the most important thing to transmit to a student is a love of the gourmet world, the importance of constantly seeking the best ingredients… Ingredients are fundamental in cuisine. It is impossible to produce good cuisine without good ingredients! ‘

Chef Boudot : "Le Cordon Bleu institute is a breeding ground for Chefs who, in my opinion, have an exemplary career path. We have all worked in prestigious establishments and I believe that this is what the students are looking for. When I have a novice in front of me, my priority is to pass on my passion and this is why I love teaching. Teaching is a profession which also enables us to grow, if we want to get something back, we need to know how to give…"
Sylvy Morineau : "We welcome students who have definite ideas about their future and career project. The fact that the student has a project in mind enables us to help them build their plan for the future. We give them all the necessary tools, and a whole range of expertise…"
Among them a number of internships and meetings with professionals enable to enhance the principles learned in class and in a professional setting.

Le Cordon Bleu in Paris is the best culinary school in all of France, seeing that it was the 2nd culinary school to open in 1896 (19th century). Giada De Laurentiis, Julia Child and Katie Quinn are lucky alumni from different years cause no other culinary schools in France are better than Le Cordon Bleu except for Ecole De Cuisine La Varenne in Paris/Burgundy, France (but sadly closed down). Great work, Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. ☺☺☺

I’m really interested in going to Le Cordon Bleu in Paris but I have two concerns.
The first is what kind of education do I have to have to enter the school? The highest education I have is a high school GED.
The second is housing. I live in the USA. If I go there, would I have to find housing myself?

    • @LeCordonBleuParisFrance
      @LeCordonBleuParisFrance  Před 5 lety +7

Thank you so much for your interest in Le Cordon Bleu Paris.
We ask our students to provide us with a copy of their high school diploma or equivalent; your GED would therefore work!
Also, although we do not offer housing on campus, we are happy to provide accepted students with a list of contacts that may be of help in their housing search.
Why don’t you get in touch with one of our students recruitment representatives to ask all your questions and get started on the application process?
I invite you to reach out to Mr. Philippe Rocheron; you can reach out to him at procheron@cordonbleu.edu.

Really prestigious college, but mind explaining me the following is the cost of all this wellness 49.300 euro a year or the whole 4 years of education, because if its 49k a year, my parents can't afford it even if they both take bank credits and sell their belongings. We're from Serbia and for our standards that price is ridiculously high. And both my parents have good jobs(Mother, doctor of botanics science, father lawmen for the organised crime in economy)

      Dear Boss Box,
The programme you refer to is our Grand Diplôme®, an intensive and comprehensive programme in classic French culinary techniques, combining our Diplôme de Pâtisserie and Diplôme de Cuisine. The Grand Diplôme® is considered the passport to a world of career opportunities in culinary arts. Entering Le Cordon Bleu network gives you the opportunity to study in one of our institutes in the world during 9 months. The fee you mention is for the whole Diploma and not a yearly fee.
Feel free to contact us at www.cordonbleu.edu/contact/en should you have any concerns.

I'm from Indonesia and I'm a senior highschool student, I will graduate next year. For me, since I was a kid, I really want to be a chef, especially a pastry chef. One day I found this Le Cordon Bleu and really interested to study here, so bad. But, I have a concern about can I really study here?
First, to study here cost much of money and my parents can't afford it, there are any scholarship for Indonesian students, cause last time I read on the website the scholarship is just for some countries.
Second, since it's in the France, do I really need to know and speak France? Cause, I just can speak English and Indonesia.
    Thank you.

      Hello Izzah,
Thanks for your comment and interest in Le Cordon Bleu Paris !
I am afraid we do not offer any scholarships, but you can send an email to paris@cordonbleu.edu to ask all the questions you may have.
As for the language, you do not need to speak french to study at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, as all the classes are taught in French and simultaneously translated in English by one of our translator.
I hope this helps, do not hesitate to email us if you have other questions !
      Have a nice day,
