I wrote and directed this. Glad to see it back online.
I'm just glad I saved all 15 episodes, and was very surprised to see how many people actually remembered it. I remember watching it back when it was online, it had a choose where to go style adventure back when CZcams had that option. I figured that it would be better to have all 15 episodes compiled into one which would make things easier, the only downside is it's almost an hour long. Regardless, it seems that people enjoy it still to this day even after it's debut in 2014, and really that's all that matters to me. People still don't like Erec though.

I spent literal hours trying to find it today after thinking about it randomly.
Two things i wish where on youtube, This and another show from the same people about video game villens beating the hero's then trying to stop the main villain from waking up a great evil via an organ tune.
Glad to see this one is back but it's sad I can't remember the name of the other one.

I think they had Matthew Mercer voice Luke, I briefly remember seeing that in the original description of the videos, but that was a long time ago, so I honestly don't know anybody else who voiced the characters.
How is it that with all the murder and theft and attempted murder Luke didn’t catch on that they were the bad guys?! I mean really...
Would it be funny if at the very end where he jumps off the cliff but instead of dying he gets reincarnated and thrown into the world of Link between worlds

@Geoff Speedie To be fair, this was during Machinama's heyday, but unfortunately those days are over, and since they've removed everything, the creative minds behind those shows went on to do other things. Machinama was a place where a lot of creative and talented people made these shows, but since Machinama's dead in the water, shows like this are far and few. I recommend looking up Dorkly if you want something similar.

Give it time, people who watched it back when it was up might recall it and look it up to find this, while others who didn't know of it's existence might come across it while searching Zelda related videos, either way I'm just glad people are happy with it. :)

Ya’know, at the end I always thought that the end the Link from Sonic for Hire travels back in time to stop her and easily subdues her with godlike powers of his own but then says “girl were you seriously going to take over the world in that?! Bleeech!!” And then forcefully gives her a makeover.
How cool if it was still going on and we see link and the brown hair knight work together and as a twist link was dark link.

@@TostetoLightsky I've made sure to archive it as well this time around. Aside from this there was another series similar to it that I was looking for. I can't remember the name but the plot involved 2 sub boss in a side scrolling game deciding to leave their post to avoid being killed by the heroes. it consisted of about 5 episodes I think. Hopefully that will get reuploaded one day as well. :)

I was fortunate enough to save all 15 episodes, but I'm just glad that people still remembered the show, and found enjoyment in watching it again. It also good to see newcomers find it amusing, even though this made around 2014.

I was expecting Link to be revived by a fairy and kill the two knights and Mia to save the day. Or at least have Ganon win as the two knights go back to the Castle and celebrate.

I saved the videos before the uploaded decided to take all 15 down. I believe it was a series from a Machinama, I can’t remember who exactly. One day I decided to look and see if the videos were still here, found out they weren’t, and I decided to compile them all into one video and then upload it for everyone to see it again.

I don't think it would work after the what happened in the first, unless the creators put more effort into a story with new and existing characters, but honestly it is what it is.
We outlined season 2. As far as I remember it, it was going to start with a continue screen, then Luke was going to wake up at the bottom of the mountain with Link. They were going to team up, Midnight Run style, and travel through a dystopian Hyrule to eventually defeat Mia and set things right again. But, as soon as Hyrule is back to normal, we were gonna end the series with Link quickly stabbing and killing Luke.
But, Machinima ended their happy hour channel before we got a chance to write it.

Ya I thought the orbs were an oddball move but hey it’s still interesting.

I can't remember who exactly, all I remember is it was on the Happy Hour channel, and I think Luke was voiced by Matthew Mercer, but I'm not a 100% certain.

I believe it was on the Happy Hour channel, which was a part of Machinima. If you search "Machinima" there will be numerous videos on what went wrong and why they decided to make a lot of content disappear.
Happy hour got me thought high school i miss that channel.

Well, someone took the time to animate all this, and the twists aren’t bad, though the overall story and character development is kinda lackluster. I think they were mainly going for humor but most of this wasn’t really that funny. Toilet and sex humor only goes so far. The murder hobo thing was funny maybe the first few times but then it just got old. Still... I mean, someone did take the time to animate and write a script to so this whole thing, so kudos there,

Why was it deleted
The channel that this series was originally on which was called Happy Hour hosted a number of parodies and original shows mostly centered around video games, but unfortunately it was also a part of Machinama which would eventually lead to the channels destruction and along with it all the videos that were posted on it. I'm just glad I saved all the episodes way before they disappeared, it was a complete fluke that I found out that the series had vanished off CZcams. After I compiled all the episodes into one video, I never would have thought my inbox would explode afterwards and the video being my most viewed ever. I've since then tried to reupload anything that I've saved over the years that isn't on CZcams anymore, mostly parodies and other possible lost media.
I'm still back at where I started with nothing to kill.

You say in the description that you didn't make this. Who did? Can you add that to the description? Like, "this was originally made by..." and have a link to the original channel?
If I remembered who exactly made it, I would have included it in the description , but since it was on the Happy Hour channel, or at least that's where I remember it being from, the original video's credits are lost. Happy Hour was a channel that had many content creators with different shows, but the channel is considered dead now and everything anybody uploaded on the channel is gone, and the content creators moved on. I wouldn't be able to remember who out of the many creators who created it.
After Googling it, I've discovered some info, and will look into updating the description once I've found any credits.

This series was something I did NOT create, it was originally on a channel called "Happy Hour" which was a collaboration channel for Machinama. I don't recall who originally made the series, but like many other videos on Happy Hour, it disappeared after Machinama went downhill and decided to make almost everything disappear. I was fortunate enough to save all the episodes, and decided to compile all of them into one video and upload it so it could once again be enjoyed by everyone.

When I first watched this I kind of hated it (in fact I sill have some gripes with it), but now years later I kinda have a better appreciation for it, and I do think with a second season it could have gotten better.
It would have been interesting to see what would have been next, but that will probably never happen unfortunately.
I loved machinima growing up, its sad how much great content was lossed because of shitty business practices
I'm not in the know of what really happened aside from the content creators leaving the Happy Hour channel and the whole library of videos going poof, it's rather unfortunate because some of their content was really good, Battlefield Friends was stuck in limbo for quite awhile. I'm honestly glad I saved Knights In Hyrule, I love A Link To The Past and since the art style was exactly like it I saved each episode not knowing it would become my most viewed video ever, I uploaded it and didn't expect anything from it and then my inbox exploded, and my subscriber count had gone from 30 subs to 500, it's a weird feeling when stuff like that happens, but it inspired me to save even more videos in case they vanish for reasons unknown.

@@TostetoLightsky I re-watch this now every month just like I used to re-watch its original posting. Also the editing for all the different episodes they actually flowed together very well in a proper timeline in this edit
@@lornbaker1083 When I was editing all the clips into one video I actually had to cut down the ending of each clip, excluding the one with Erec chasing Rasta Bob on the world map and the very End. The video would have been far longer if I just compiled everything into one video, so I took great care into making each clip end at the exact same time before the map screen hit, and I made sure that each episode was in the right order, thus why the story flows the way it does. :)

The original videos weren’t taken down by Nintendo, it was because the channel that it was on, Happy Hour was a part of Machinima, which has long since died, thus making the videos unavailable. As far as quality, I have no idea what you mean, this is a video with all 15 episodes compiled into one.

Otherwise, I thought Nintendo had something to do with Knights of Hyrule being gone because you literally couldn't find it anywhere on internet compared to Sonic For Hire and Mega Man Dies at the End (and that was before LowBrow started putting everything back to their CZcams channel).
@@wargamesmaster That's understandable, I did take a look at the original videos I had and they are pretty much the exact same quality as the uploaded video, I'm not sure what I used to save them back then, it is what it is, but I think everyone isn't concerned with that, they're just happy to watch it again. As far as other missing shows, it's really up to the creators or someone who saved them to decide if they want it back on CZcams or not, and unfortunately sometimes those shows are lost to the sands of time forever.

From what the original creators mentioned they were going to have a continuation with Luke and Link teaming up to stop Mia, but it was never made, probably because of the channel that this video was originally on was discontinued.
