- Welcome to the review of our apartment in the Star Residences in Kuala Lumpur. We stayed at this apartment for two months and are excited to finally show and review it!
We decided we love Kuala Lumpur so much that we ended up staying for two months. It was quite a challenge to find a short term stay apartment for a decent price. Long term stay can be much easier and cheaper.
Star Residences is fairly new building complex with amazing luxury apartments, a giant pool and two rooftop pools. It also has a big gym and in-house shops, restaurants and other facilities. Combined with a super central location in the KLCC area. The Avenue K mall, LRT station KLCC and the Suria mall are just around the corner.

Overall we really enjoyed this apartment, especially the amenities and the central location. Would definitely come back again!

We Malaysians are so blessed with our country,tho ringgit is weak now but the government subsidies the necessary need ,food is bountiful,housing is affordable..just grateful.

Excellent commentary and professionally precise, to the point narrative style; perfect time of duration too. 12-15 minutes is ideal, no longer than 20 minutes to hold the viewer's attention. Well done! Like what you did with the 2nd bedroom space, more utilitarian. Did you mention the rate at all or did I miss it? Enjoyed the video and subscribed......
Thank you so much for your kind words!! At the time of renting we paid for 1 month around 1000 euro, little higher for KL but we enjoyed our stay a lot and even extended with a little lower price 😃

Yeah we loved the kitchen and used it a lot! Malaysian food is nice but we also love to cook 😊
Definitely better than paying Airbnb daily charge of 40 to 50 per day.

Hi can you please help me understand how you got the property on property guru? the prices there are much better than air bnb, how did you do a short term lease / how did you handle things like internet and electricity bills etc? thanks!
Hey! We contacted them through the website and requested a showing. After that we discussed the price and how long. Usually longer you want the cheaper it gets. But always a disclaimer that you have to be careful for scams etc.
In our case internet was included and utility bills were taken from the deposit at the end. We also negotiated the amount of deposit so it was lower. Usually you can negotiate about everything 😃
A bonus tip, in our building there is also an option to just walk into the building and contact the sales staff and talk to them. Many more luxury buildings have this option!

@@yesandexplore Thanks alot for the info, would you recommend if im planning on doing just short of 90 days to just rent a hotel for a few days and go around "shopping" ? How long of a lease did you guys do, just 2 months?
No problem! Yeah we booked a hotel for some days and made appointments to visit apartments. Just to see them personally and also to see if the area is nice. For us it really doesn’t work from a distance because we didn’t know the areas yet. So yeah, book a hotel(in an area you would like to also stay in) and try to visit from there would be our advice.
We started with 1 month and extended for 1 more because we liked it!

Correct! We planned for 1 month and then extended but if you stay longer prices drop drastically. Even tho it was expensive for Kl, we still loved it.

How many minutes of walking to the nearest lrt?
KLCC station is about 5 min walk, you can enter Avenue K and go the basement and you are practically there!

You should be thinking in the range of 3000-3500 MYR for a year!
