    Thank you for this video. I just paid for my LLC and my next step is to buy tents. I only have $4000 to start. Thanks again for all the game!

    Do you ever sublease from other event companies? If so can you do a video on subleasing. I work in the motion picture industry in Los Angeles. I’m restarting a luxury restroom trailer business. (Taking off on my own) I use to do all the maintenance, operations part etc for restroom trailers. The actual business part, finance, contracts etc is somewhat new to me. I enjoy your videos, thanks

      Great, thanks. I’m going to need to sublease from a friend/ other company, and maybe others first before, until I’m able to build up enough money/clientele to buy my own stuff

      Hi I’ve been binge watching all your videos for a couple days now. I have a small rental company with just tables and chairs and I’m adding in tents and this info is extremely helpful. For side poles would you recommend wood, aluminum, or something else?

    • @thetentguy
      @thetentguy  Před 5 lety +2

      Wood is the most economical. We use wood any any 20’ wide and 30’ wide. Our larger 40’ wides we use aluminum.

    Do you think that a good start up would be to buy the celina 20x20 frame tent package that includes tables and chairs is a good route to take?

    • @thetentguy
      @thetentguy  Před 4 lety

      I haven’t heard of it before. By hunk the Celina tent is good, but I round get quotes from table and chair manufacturers and compare if it’s cheaper to buy the package, or just the tent and get tables and chairs elsewhere.

    So when people rent , do u set it up for them or no

    • @thetentguy
      @thetentguy  Před 4 lety

      Yes we do. The tent and a few other things. Tables and chairs we just drop off.

    I don't see you guys use any high peak tents (20x20). Is there a reason why you use more pole tents than high peaks?

    • @thetentguy
      @thetentguy  Před 3 lety +1

      I have a lot of 20x20, 20x30 and 20x40 high peak frames. I guess I just don’t make a lot of videos with them because I’m more focused, hands on with them.

    • @ignacioosorio1025
      @ignacioosorio1025 Před 3 lety

      @@thetentguy I was asking because I'm currently using pole tents too but wanted to give high peaks a try. It looks like they would be easier to set up I just dont know if there's a reason why NOT to use them instead of the pole tents. Any thing bad about them.?

    • @thetentguy
      @thetentguy  Před 3 lety

      I like both, used for different applications. High peak frame tents are the easiest frame tents, so definitely get them as your first frames.

      @@thetentguy thanks so much for the advice. One last question as far as strength are they both good w rain and wind? Or which one is better than the other? Im mainly renting for back yard events.

    • @thetentguy
      @thetentguy  Před 3 lety +1

      Frame tent is better with wind. But a properly installed pole tent is fine as well.
