im ok if i hear it during the day or with others ...but most times when its late or i've had a few ... it needs the immersive listen and then ... yes ..there are a few pieces like that , i consider them special do you cry if you hear it with others during the day on the radio at work or like me ... when alone or with a close friend ? i ask people this a lot ... it seems we need a shield in public but later ... with a glass of something after the day is done ... we can lean back into the song and bathe in its emotion
This song touches the soul and goes deep. We all have these times when we feel what we feel and think that we are alone in it. I had a slogan that I carried with me for a number of years of depression: "Never give up." God knows what we are going through and He himself was alone. We are not alone.
Charles Dickens talks (Tale of Two Cities) about wondering what is going on in all the individual houses. Just occassionally, wonder about the other person in the car, on public transit. Sometimes I'll just give a BIG smile. About 90% of the time it is returned.
The Meaning Behind the Band Name: R.E.M. They settled on R.E.M. Stipe had found and selected the name at random from a dictionary. To many, the initials are known as shorthand for “rapid eye movement,” which is the dream stage of sleep during which one's eyes dart around under their eyelids. This is a great band if you have the time have a look at R.E.M. - Everybody Hurts (Live from Glastonbury Festival, 1999) this is a magic version you can feel it.cheers young lady and stay safe.
Wonderful, well-levelled reaction. I have a strong suggestion to react to...one that isn't heard so often these days - John Lennon's 'Mother'. That's an incredibly emotionally visceral song.
Hi my friend great reaction to a great band don't forget to have a look at chalk outlines live ren x chinchilla it's awesome many thanks love and respect from the UK 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
Music that gives you feelings and memorys, I use to skipp some of your vids because i did not know what your topic vids and band whas in the reacting video.. I was wrong..you have everything random with a real feel..big hugs to you,,
Another recommendation is Creep by Radiohead. If you haven’t heard of Steelheart they have the two best Power Ballads IMO with I’ll Never Let You Go and She’s Gone. Miljenko’s voice is one of a kind and will shock you when you hear his unbelievable vocal range.
Just my worthless individual opinion, I think this is the best rock video ever made. The way you get suckered in thinking it's a lyric video that then morphs into everyone's thoughts about their pain is genius. It adds to the (great) song instead of subtracting from it.
One of the BEST 80's bands. Amazing discography. ✌️
The band's name is pronounced with individual letters. R-E-M.
This was written to be an anti-suicide song, especially for teens.
Tears fall every time I hear this song. Thanks for featuring this song...❤

I listen n cry to this either driving in my car or alone in my bedroom, much more so since my son, my only child has passed
"It doesn't cost anything to be kind." Great thought, great words to live by. Thank you Sarah, that was brilliant!!
I really enjoy this song when it’s done by Joe Cocker. The grittiness of his voice adds another layer to this masterpiece.
R.E.M. rapid eye movement. When you’re dreaming. “Losing my Religion”, “It’s the End of the World as We Know It”.
I love this song. I love this band.
