There's no need to make a video about this. All you need to do is use the pressure controls to activate ANC by holding the stem. Just like the originals

Hello Alex, thank you for the excellent video. I have bought a fake 2nd generation AirPod Pro that has a superb sound, I risk to say better than the original specially on bass response. Both iPhone 13 with iOS 17.3.1 and Macbook Air M2 Sonoma 14.3.1 recognize as legitimate with all functions available. The only problem is that when I change from iPhone to Mac and try to connect it connects for 5s then it disconnects and a message appears telling you to forget the device. You forget it, pairs again and everything is fine. But when you switch from Mac to iPhone, you need to pair again. Have you had the same trouble? Is there a new firmware that fixes that?
I don’t use a Mac. So I can’t test it. Since these don’t have iCloud sync, then you most likely have to forget device every time.

If this update is NOT performed on these supported clone AirPods then some features of the clone AirPods such as spacial audio won’t work on iOS 16 or greater ? Will later iOS updates prevent the clone AirPods from working or limit some features?
Well, the app will auto detect which chipset it's using. If it's not using a Tigerbuilder PCB, then it won't even connect to the app

The latest AirPods Pro 2 v4.2, v5.0, v5.1 and v5.2 work with iOS 16. V4.9 TB should also work with iOS 16

Maybe the v4.5 Tigerbuilder is not supported with the app. You may have to manually update them with the airreps apk app

That’s impossible. You have to know which chipset and motherboard it has to then find a way to update (if there is any available). Not all clones are updatable.

I downloaded the app, and followed the directions given. The app freezes after getting connected. Nothing updates. It’s just sitting idle. The cloned pods just connect to my Android device, but after connecting in app, it just sits there. I have tried resetting the app. Uninstall and reinstalling the app, powering down the Android and even disconnecting / reconnecting the pods to the Android. Nothing helps. Is there another updated version for the app available? If not, this does me no good.
As stated clearly in the video, it only works for specific versions. It only works for products with the Airoha 1562E, 1562M, 1562F, and 1562AE chips.

Will this work for future iPhone updates?
No guarantees that it would support all iOS 16 updates. Apple can always come with another way to detect clones. If it does happen, the factories will find a way to make a new software update for the earbuds. Though, we don’t know how long it will take till it get released.

no. If it was bad, I wouldn't installed it on my own device. If you fear, then you could still use the airpods as regular earbuds, even if it says it's not genuine ones.

Does this update bypass all iOS 16+ versions?
I think it should. It works for me on iOS 16.0 and 16.1 on iPhone and 16.1 iPad OS. I personally don't update my phone for each update that comes out.
