Meanwhile, I bought a fake Airpods pro 1st gen for 20$ a little more than 1.5 years ago and I'm impressed so far, even though I travel a lot and use it all time while traveling I've barely ever managed to kill its battery.. the sound is good enough and the hinge is really strong, however no noise cancelling ofc and the in ear detection sensor is sometimes extremely sensitive to the point where walking or slightly shaking my head would think I took them out.. but other times it's works fine and that's my only complaint about them.. I've probably won silicon lottery.

You didn't win silicon lottery, sound quality has everything to do with the speaker itself, nothing with the silicon. Also the best Airpod Pro fakes have real working ANC, yours suck.

For active noise cancelation you can buy some with it and some it out but it costs more for ANC you bought the poor version the one with function cuts

You need an external app, which is also available for apple, to configure the LED, noise cancellation etc. After configuring, it's working like default

None of the fakes I’ve bought previously required any app. Fairly certain these just don’t have noise cancellation. Others do

Just bought a pair of fakes recently. The sound quality is quite good and the Apple ecosystem integration is there with the widget and advanced controls in iOS. The biggest give aways for me were that they couldn’t switch connection between my iPad and iPhone properly even after they were paired by both. It forces me to go through the initial pairing process every time I want to pair it with my iPhone and then my iPad. Next give away was that my Apple Watch charger wouldn’t work with them

Broo: You can identify fake airpods by mobile phone torch light to the opening of the case. The original one has chips/something above the pods and fake one doesn’t.

I have two sets of the Jenny 4.5TB on the way. Seem to be the best out there. ANC, Spatial Audio, Find My, Volume Control. etc all work with 8-10 hours of listening time. There is just not enough feedback on the fake Gen 2s and everyone in the AirReps subreddit is saying to wait a few generations until the 2nd gens get better.

I got a fake pair for $100 the sound quality isn’t the greatest but I was able to mess around with some settings and make them sound better
The noise cancellation doesn’t work nor the transparency however they actually have a warranty in the settings of my phone and the box is almost identical

Surprisingly, in China now and after 8 months since this video. They have addressed every detailed issues that were raised in this video. And got it for 20USD (bargained)... pretty much they're so good and same as the real one. Only the spare ear tips threw out the fake
