Former Home Secretary, Suella Braverman, quizzes multiple groups of pro-Palestine protesters at Cambridge University. For the majority of the time the non-identifiable Palestine protesters remained in silence and ignored Suella, however there was some occurrences of abuse aimed at her.

Another step in this direction is for instance that there was a bill abouth the definition of antisemitism that declaree it was antisemitic to critize israel about these issues. Any student there is alsso representing the university..to have a place at such a uni is a privilage not an entitlement...they should all have their student places revoked..if the government paid the losses and students were then expelled all of these protests would ve over as then they would be trespassing..job done
They are camping on the grounds of King's College. Nothing to do with the University itself. The colleges own their own land, not the University.

I agree. Their right to be ignorant extends to us also. When they bleat about not having this or that, to make their tantrum more bearable, simply ignore them, restrict their movement in and out (once out, they don't go back in) and refuse any demands they make.

Their silence speaks volumes. I'm sure they think they're being very clever, and have been told not to engage with the press (or certainly not those they feel might question their views), but it also screams to the lack of conviction in their cause. Deep down, they know that they are incapable of defending their own views successfully, and therefore they retreat into the bubble of silence, imaginging themselves all the more clever for it.
What kind of protest actively avoids sharing its views at every opportunity? At having a chance to sway others to their cause? A protest where the protestors realise, even if not consciously, that they cannot argue their own beliefs with logic or facts. Only virtue-signalling 'feelings'.

But you're avoiding the point by transferring your anger onto those who went to ask questions. Forget, for a second, who was asking them to debate (even though, love or loathe Suella, surely she was at least willing to talk and debate?) - those 'students' are protesting about something, yes? How is a protest of any use, if you do not take the opportunity to debate and put forth your views when blatantly offered? They were being given a platform, regardless of how 'biased' you think that platform may be. What is to be gained by protest if you only talk to those who already agree with you? Is a protest not itself a way to communicate beliefs to those with whom you disagree? There's no point protesting for the benefit of those who already agree with you.
Yet they all avoided speaking, because they clearly either don't understand what they're protesting or have so little faith and conviction in their own beliefs that they would rather avoid conversation than face discussion that would break down those beliefs. If they are so correct and so righteous, surely they can at least counter anything their opposition says? Alternatively they are cowards hiding behind their masks and their silence, which amounts to the same, and says as much.
