- In this episode of Hermitcraft Season 9, Mumbo Jumbo finishes his Minecraft Survival Base! This Hermitcraft mega base has been in progress since the start of the season, and it is complete! The Minecraft diamond vault has been filled with stacks of diamond blocks, the redstone vault door entrance is working, and Grian proof Minecraft security system is functional.
Mumbo also meets up with GoodTimesWithScar to discuss plans for the richest hermit on Hermitcraft problem.

You could get Pearl to organize your chests for you, it’d be a good use of your diamonds too
or better idea, pay pearl to organize grians chests so that mumbo has an easier time finding ite~ ... so that there is more lag around the vault! ;-)

I love how you can hear roosters and birds chirping in the background! Tbh minecraft should get a mob that indicates when it becomes day &some more birds. We almost got the fireflies but sadly in the end we didn't get to see them fill up the blocky sky
Honestly, there's already the clock to indicate when it becomes day. Maybe a sound indicator from the clock could be useful when it switches from day to night (or the opposite) but more birds are surely something they can add. It's Minecraft after all, they can basically add anything we vote for. It's Java language, nothing's limiting the imagination tbh.

If Mumbo and Grian still do the thing where grian has to break into the vault, it would be fun to have a maze where there isn't an exit unless grian walks over a certain random block enough times for the exit to open like the redstone machine at 11:30.

I just realised what Mumbo has done is just build a detailed cube. Like litteraly, it's a cube. A very good-looking cube, but still. The one thing your meant to avoid while building. I love it. Great video, please keep uploading.

@@liv6775 I have a world with an End base that is a spherical habitat made of glass, with details of a rotegrity ball (relative of a geodesic dome).

This is the same guy that built an entire bank system for his business about chilling on flamingo blow ups that he said would get done in season 8 but never happened and still hasn’t in season 9.
I think the Sarhara credit system, and repeated failure of other shops has scarred mumbo from participating in the economy in a standard fashion.
He should start an investment bank!

@@dying2survive298 I tested it with silk touch stone pickaxe on redstone ore at some point (no idea why)... and it doesn't drop.
I love the fact that Mumbo has basically infinite diamonds, and still makes his diamond piles hollow :)
Really hope Mumbo gets the time to try out TCG! It's one of the coolest things going on this season of HC, and I desperately want to see how Mumbo interacts with it

Mumbo, Mumbo, have you considered that the diamonds are from failed attempts from grian to breaking into your vault?
Grian couldn't have that many diamonds, my theory is that when everybody on Empires was leaving, they decided to give their diamonds to Mumbo, as a surprise for when he came back.
i'm pretty sure they're the diamonds Ren made everybody throw into the hole. those disappeared before he was dethroned and nobody ever found them... and Mumbo does have a LOT of diamonds...

I love the different levels of depth you've got going on in your vault. The depth plus the color scheme reminds me of the "Silent Cartographer" level from Halo 1 so the nostalgia factor just makes it that much better for me. Fantastic work Mumbo!

Oddly enough, I think that top view is probably my favourite angle, too. XD I liked that you could see the four quadrants of diamonds and the stairs within... which also made the stairs look even more cool. Not sure how that's even possible, but it is. lol

I adore the glimpses of chat where US hermits are fascinated by mumbo's appearance on the server only to be informed of the problematic nature of cockerels in the Philippines

Every second I watch I realize more and more just how much I missed Mumbo. And the "chuffed to bits" at the end just made my "I missed Mumbo" meter go up through the roof. So glad to see new episodes you can't imagine

The nice thing is that you also have a doorbell/alarm that tells you when people go near the entrance because you have the sculk sensor
watching mumbo get better and better at building makes me so so happy
I like how the other hermits have lore behind their bases while Mumbo just has a massive vault

I love the vault build! It’s so pretty and I appreciate that lots of chests and furnaces and functional things are incorporated into the design

The amount of “Here ya go, buy y’self somthen’ nice with ‘at” energy Mumbo gives out tossing these diamond blocks is fanatstic
what you should do is go to the shopping district and upgrade your tools and armour, especially so you can get silk touch on your pickaxe for your ender chest
I really really love how the outside of the vault with the copper rods look like a guardian, I think that looks super cool, not sure if it was intentional but it looks great!

I think making a big room filled with diamond blocks under the vault where you can peek into instead of 4 individual ones would look extremely cool!
That would be very cool. Instead of the 4 windows leading to 4 individual diamond rooms, it's 4 windows looking into one deeper, bigger diamond room.

The Diamond Button: a button hermits can press once a day (at a random time) in order to receive a diamond shower for a random length of time
I didn't know how much I needed to see Mumbo at Jellieland until it actually happened.
And _of course_ Mumbo goes from laughing in glee to pointing out the existential horror of Scar's creeper costume in less than a minute.
Any explanation/link to how the creeper works? I'm trying to figure it out but i can't.

This is a genuinely great build. It may not be massive, but the detail is great and I can genuinely see how far you've come as a builder 😄
The casual, sudden transition into "and this redstone contraption should do the trick" makes the whole video.
I think we can all agree that we are Chuffed to Bits with this episode as much as Stuffed to Bits is that Vault making Mumbo feel Chuffed to Bits.

God, I've really underestimated how happy watching Mumbo play Minecraft make me! This is so gooood, welcome home Mumbo!!
I 100% agree, welcome home!
The only issue that I can think of is that the amount of green that you used for accenting the build kind of blends in a bit with the shade of the diamonds, so it takes a moment to realize that they're diamonds in the vault. I think it would look slightly better if you'd decided to stockpile gold, simply because it would stand out more, or have a combination of gold, diamond, and emerald blocks.
Another thing you could have done that came to mind when seeing the finished build would be to drop the "treasury" portion lower down, and have an input chest to put gold bars and individual diamonds and emeralds in, and once it senses that a certain milestone has been reached, such as a full stack or enough to make a block, pistons raise the visible treasury up a block, so it looks like you're slowly and visually increasing your riches.
This man is recording a Minecraft video… IN. THE. PHILIPPINES. That’s impressive Mumbo, well done.

As little as Mumbo has been playing lately, I'm actually really excited for his builds this season. He's always been in love with vaults, and now he's finally living in one. This has the potential to be the vault to end all vaults.
I keep on coming back to watching hermit craft videos from time to time, and I feel like I haven’t watched it in ages when I come back to it. I remember find mumbo jumbos and grian channels at similar times. very entertaining. and also very different people

Just a thought but I know what you could do with the rest of the diamonds. You see you may have somehow acquired the lost royal diamonds that were supposed to be given back after King Ren stepped down as king, but somehow mysteriously disappeared. All you have to do is set up some kind of a tax return system where a hermit can tell you how many diamonds they gave to the king then you give them back that amount or even some percentage of it (I'd leave that up to you to decide how much and by what means.) This way you can do the right thing and actually feel good about it. You can even keep a percentage of it as a reward for retrieving the lost royal diamonds.

Mumbo, you said , I started building and now my storage is disorganized, am I becoming Grian, Infact YOU ARE, last season you accidentally turned yourself into a potato, golden carrot, then a pig, and to turn back human you took part of Grians' soul and ate it, the unknown side affects were you slowly becoming more like him, for the other viewers like me who noticed he lost the Jumbo in his name, the back of his hair looks like Grians' waffle, his increased building skill and now his disorganized manner leads me to believe that mumbo is infact soul binded to Grian and becoming more like him every day

One thing that makes the vault inside looks even better is that because the cyan/copper/green (I don't know the name of the color) blocks have a similar color to the diamonds, it makes the vault look like it's detailed with diamonds

Mumbo, the best idea to make u feel happy with the diamonds, is to pile the diamond blocks into a tower on top of the vault till the build height!! No past references indeed 🙃

In 1.20 there are going to be calibrated sculk sensors. You put in an input signal and the sensor will only detect noises that output that signal strength. Its like the traditional way of doing it but more minecrafty
These are feeling the most like EPISODES out of everyone's series. Like Mumbo is doing a plot every video.

The clear glass feels a little to bright, and the light blue might give the sense that there are more diamonds?
I wouldn't call myself a builder, but I like to think that I'm, some sort of an artist.
But this is just how I feel.
