If a person does not get along with his parents and is of legal age to leave his home, it is right to go his/her own way instead of expecting his/her parents to support him/her in a career path they do not believe in. The world is full of ungrateful people who don't give their parents credit for the comfortable life or career opportunities that many people have never been able to have...
Respect is a two way street. It shouldn’t just come from kids, it’s for parents too. How are the kids going to learn gratitude if the parents don’t teach them. Parents should accept their children for who they are and not for what they wish.

We are all made in the image of GOD, but not everyone is a child of GOD!
I'm a young designer myself, I'm 13 and hope to pursue a career in the design industry when I am older. (more specifically wedding dress designing) I have sewn many pieces including jackets, dresses, skirts, etc. But even tho I have enjoyed creating these clothes, recently I have been worried it may be a waste of time as not many succeed in this industry. But this video gave me hope to keep charging on and see what the future has in store for me if I really do follow my passion. Thanks Dhar Mann!
